Seeing as how the MIB usually follow in the wake of the Mothman’s appearances, I believe he is an alien. If he’s not an alien he is a cryptic. But I’m leaning towards alien. I think the MIB might have him hidden from the world, at large, but that there are instances where Mothman feels compelled to warn the inhabitants of Earth of catastrophes that he has premonitions of. Perhaps, the MIB do not want him to expose himself to the populace of planet Earth, but Mothman has other ideas. So, occasionally, we see him. Of course, the MIB are not far behind him. They attempt to smooth his . . . “Footprints” into oblivion, afterwards.
I think we all worry far too much. MIB, Mothman, Aliens, Cryptids, the Illuminati, & all that jazz. Stop sweat in’ the small stuff!! It will all come together as God wishes it to. His/Her/It, or whatever you want to call Him. I was shown at nine years old. It doesn’t matter one way or another. ALL THINGS SERVE THE WILL OF GOD! Whether they be of the Light or the Dark. God’s will shall be done. She created the Dark AND the Light AND all of us. It is more than capable of dealing with ALL OF US.
