Mared Malarik and Karen Ferrell were two WVU freshman back in 1970. They decided to hitch hike back to their dorms after watching a movie in downtown Morgantown. They never made it. Their headless bodies were discovered just a few miles just south of Morgantown, 88 days after they were reported missing. Find out what the guys uncover as they try to make contact to the girls.

I was raised on the next ridge over from the site and my aunt and uncle live at the top of the hill behind you. One day I'm going to bring my 360 video gear out there and a drone to document the area. I just finished the book written about this case and I feel personally invested with it being so close to home. I think John Crutchley did it based on the evidence in the book. There were so many similarities and the case just was closed so quickly. It's up to Morgantown sleuths and the few who were there to uncover and protect what evidence is still around.
I don't understand why you don't have more likes and subscribers….You have excellent content…..So sad what happened to those ladies😢!! I'ma diggin this channel dude 💯!!
Where exactly is the spot? My boyfriend and I have been told on 4H camp road off of Goshen. If that's correct on which end? Near the actual 4H camp or over on Owl Creek road on the other end of 4H camp road? It's driving me crazy!
If anyone wants to learn more about the case of Mared Malarik and Karen Ferrell, check out the podcast series MARED AND KAREN: THE WVU COED MURDERS. It’s easily the most knowledgeable and detailed account of this case so far. LINK: https://www.coedmurders.com
I grew up in that area never knew always thought they were found in cheat lake. I've always been uneasy on that road like I was being watched or something
Any chance you can speak louder for the intro, amplify the evps and replay things only twice?
I did a English report in high school and we investigated with a lot of things including the quija board we got a lot what made me go was what it said at the end was we want your heads. Well we said bye .I drive the road every day and still wonder about them ..And it is creepy and is real….
I live right up the road from that .
Could the heads be burried near that spot? I almost feel like something else is there with them.
Any chance that you will do a group tour?
I have been all through the Mared and Karen podcast series from Kromatic Media. That production was outstanding. So much there that I never knew. Based upon the theory that the actual killer is still unknown, and also qualifying my question by admitting I am still skeptical about the use of a "spirit box", I cannot imagine you would not be eager to pose the question at the site "who killed you?" Just think of the validation if indeed the name of one of the suspects did come through. I concede that the poor victims may have never learned the name of the evil monster that ended their lives. I just think it is a question that must be asked if you truly believe in your work. I hope you summon the courage to revisit the location and post a follow up.
Interesting subject for your latest investigation. My assumption is that the recent podcast centered around these murders influenced you to go in this direction. I had not thought of this case in a paranormal sense until now but the crime has fascinated me for years. Most people doubt that the man convicted of the crime actually did it and then of course there is the issue of the missing heads. Good call on the subject. If any spirits remain in a state of unrest I imagine those two women are at the top of the list. I hope you do a followup but I would be surprised. One thing does puzzle me. Why did you two get into this if you are truly so afraid of the findings?
Great shit! I need one of those shirts!
