INGREDIENTS
1/2 Cup | 120g unsalted Butter, melted
1 Tablespoon Vegetable oil
1 Cup | 200g fine granulated sugar
2 Large Eggs | 64g each, at room temperature
2 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1/2 Cup | 65g All purpose Flour
1/2 Cup | 50g unsweetened Cocoa powder (Dutched Cocoa preferred)
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
100g | 3/4 Cup semi sweet Chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)
Makes 9 Brownies if baked in a 7 inch Square Pan.
METHOD
🍫 Weigh all the ingredients in grams for a perfect result always. A weighing scale does not cost much and it will save your valuable time by getting every recipe right in the very first attempt. Melt the Butter in the microwave for 30-60secs. Add Vegetable Oil. Add fine granulated White Sugar. Mix Well.
🍫 Add the Eggs and the vanilla essence. Beat well for almost 5-6 mins or till the sugar almost dissolves and batter becomes white. This step is important to achieve that shiny crinkled top.
🍫 Sift together the Flour, Cocoa powder(I used Dutch Processed) and salt into the Wet Ingredients. Gently fold them in.
🍫 Add the Chocolate Chips or chopped Chocolate chunks into the batter. Gently fold them in.
🍫 Grease a 7 inch tin with oil and place a parchment paper with long edges.
🍫 Preheat oven at 180C/350F. Bake in a 7inch Tin for 20-25 mins or till a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out with few moist crumbs but not wet batter. I baked mine for 25mins and let it cool for 15-20 mins in the tin . Do not overbake it as it continues to cook even during cooling time.
Best served warm with Vanilla IceCream 🍽️🍦 Bon Appétit!
Tip: Use parchment paper on all the four sides to lift the brownie without breaking it. Do not skip beating the Eggs with the sugar for atleast 5 mins for a smooth Crinkle Top layer at the top. It also works as a leavening agent as there is no baking powder or soda used.
Add Premium Quality Chocolate Chips or Chopped Chocolate chunks for that Gooey melted effect inside. I used 60% Dark Cocoa Premium Chips. But you can use any type of chocolate chips you prefer.
