Guys this build, pure gas grenade, barely took a hit, watch 3:30 and see, the broke interaction is gone but it was never using it, as you can see in the footage its shredding, the actual numbers gas grenade was lowered by itself are tiny.

Gas grenade attack damage shows 246% for me now.
I run gas oil and explosive grenades and use explosive shot to insta trigger. I also have supp gem in gas grenade to crack armor and every explo shot consumes the armor

gas nades have supports to break armor, explosive has a support to consume broken armor for 50% more damage. the combo for insane damage is gas+oil down spam a few explosive sets in with scattershot and all the +proj/bombardier crossbow, detonate everything with explosive shot if needed. flash grenades give some crazy sustain due to the reduction of enemy hit chance. hearld of fire and ur choice of second aura for buffs.
Im surprised he didn't go for reload speed considering he's using a crossbow.
mana is a problem for me with this build, any tips?
attrition is a great buff rn which already gives culling and then u can go for extra 25% threshhold culling on passive which is why I respecced to concentration instead
seems slow for clear tbh. I pretty much only use voltaic grenade while clearing and it works better
tbf…merc was always one of the more interesting picks. Guess most just like explosions
Grenade dmg falls off the further you get into the game and by cruel Act 2 I'm primarily using frag rounds and auto attacks with bleed/elemental dmg to take down bosses
They said POE2 would allow more build variety but as of right now thats just not the case cos a lot of the Crossbow ammo types/skills are just too weak
This build got gutted. But it still might be stronger than the other merc builds. I only got to try it out one night but a damage dropoff of 40% might as well be night and day.
calling it a endgame build while in the start of act 3 normal is wild XD
Currently stock on act 2 on the lost city can’t deal with the minters idk what to do
Would Deadeye be a good option to have a build like this? I am thinking to have Endless Munition and Point blank, gives u extra projectile on all grenade skills and 20% more hit damage in close range.

im missing a ton of damage ongranades at act 2 level 25, I guess i have to farm gold to fix gear and I have really bad luck with support gems drop, only getting ability ones

In the passive tree what attributes do you pick?
Why ice herald and not herald of ash?

i think Gemling Legionnaire better than witchhunter because we can use multiple area gems and hit bigger
Even after the nerf, I have found spamming first posion then explosive grenades in a strict 1-2 order is producing some kind of weird interaction, and I am able to just melt bosses even in cruel difficulty with lower level gear. . It could very well be my support gem setup.
Wait a minute, why dont I have the same support gem choiuses as RGV?
Running explosive shot once you replace your shotgun is great to instant detonate your poison when you are getting mobbed.
Instead of permafrost why not explosive shot? Ive been rocking with explosive shot

Ive been using gas grenades with corrosion and scatter with armor pericing rounds. Fill the battlefield with gas that constantly breaks enemy armor allowing for double barrel/scatter aemor pericing rounds which does a good amount of damage. Not as much as grenades. But still great
