When Steve Freeling moves his family into a new house in the development where he is the top homes salesman, it looks like things are going well for him and his family. But as his wife, Diane, and his children, Dana, Robbie and little Carol Anne, begin to unpack and settle in, strange things start happening. Almost playful at first, a mysterious force begins stacking chairs on the kitchen table, or making objects slide across the floor. i had the poltergeist 1982 soundtrack on cd long ago, unfortunately it was lost in transit with moving house.

Poltergeist from 1982 is the real deal and forget the 2015 year version.I dont know how many times i have watched this one over the years but its many, many times because its just GREAT. And the day it had its premiere that magic year 1982 in the cinema was a special day for sure.👍
I like the new version from 2015 better than this! The Remake is scarier, cooler and not so childish as this one!

This movie was awesome and gives you chills. I mean this was a nice and beautiful neighborhood until after after Carol Anne disappeared in to the spirit world that Steven Freeling by his greedy money hungry boss that the whole damn suburb was built on a use to be graveyard site no wonder that demonic host was angry. It was Steve's boss who caused all this hell to come upon the family. Lesson ALWAYS get info and history on the house you live in or trying to move because you never know if the house is haunted. Hell it makes me want to find out everything about apartment and homes. This movie chilling. FIVE STARS
