(Verified!) Silent Poltergeist 100%!

So yeah, another old impossible level verification. I’m actually really happy with this one too considering how long I’ve known about its existence and how enamored by it I was as a kid. I’ve wanted to do this for a long ass time and I’m glad I ended up being the one to get it done.
However, as it is a level that was never meant to be beaten, the gameplay is very strange.
40-50 I’d say is the hardest part of the level, it has several really tight gaps as well as just being awkward. Outside of that the level is carried by chokepoints which are just sorta scattered about the place. The easier parts are also harder than they look, I’m not exactly sure why (maybe it’s just bc of the flashing) but you die to random stuff more than you’d expect.
The predrop also sucks. It’s not too hard but it’s just annoying and boring. There’s like 4 notable hard things in the predrop which are the first ship gap, the 15% consistency section, the 18% green orb, and the transition into the floaty ball at 24%. The annoying thing about the floaty ball is that it has a random chance to eat your inputs sometimes, which killed me quite a bit. Even if you pass all the hard stuff, there’s also still a chance you choke the first click of that cube which always kinda stings. Because it takes a little bit for any big chokepoints to happen, your attempts also tend to last a while on average making it a pretty boring experience but at the same time making it so your attempt count isn’t as high as you might expect. Then after you do the predrop, you get shoved into the 40-50 section which will kill you a LOT and then every time you die you have to do the whole predrop again which gets really tiring.
The wave itself however is actually pretty solid. Sure there’s a couple awkward parts but it’s pretty satisfying to pull off overall. The spams aren’t too hard either and could absolutely be done by anyone who knows how alternate at least a little bit, they’re not super high in cps so it wouldn’t be too ludicrous for an average person to attempt.
The difficulty of the level overall is also very hard to judge for a couple reasons. For one, it’s very mentally challenging because of the experience of playing from 0. For two, my consistency was VERY weird and didn’t seem to stick. I got my first 85 a decent while before actually finishing it off so I wouldn’t be surprised if some people (who aren’t spam disabled) find it easier than I did bc I feel like most people wouldn’t have this consistency issue.
I’d also like to talk about my old attempts. Despite having 7.3k of them I can assure you that they barely mean anything. When I started properly going for this level my first practice run still took over 200 attempts so it’s not like I had any muscle memory for it.

Overall although this wasn’t the best experience, I’m still very happy I pulled through because verifying an old ass sailent impossible level feels fucking WILD to have done lmao
