Quick patch notes update today for Path of Exile 2.
The Witchhunter effectively now has access to two different passive trees, giving the class way more flexibility in build planning.
What do you think of this change? Is Witchhunter going to be the new go-to starter in 0.3?

so i have to copy 200 skill points instead of 100 off someone else cant wait.
Now we only need new weapons to swap too xD

I literaly said i wanted to do weaponswap witchhunter during stream today now i want it even more
Note: You cant pass jewel sockets or take big notables with weapon set points. Unless it gets changed for witchhunter before patch.
You also cant branch from a node with ws1 into a node as ws2.
Not likely you are gonna be able to use all points, since you then only can have 23 points for both sets.
You also have to mirror all attribute nodes between the two weapon sets to be able to wear your gear.
I could not make this work even with 48 points in 0.2, always ended up with like 38 points in ws1 and 18 in ws2 (guess you could just go attributes but feels like a waste).
But maybe with the updated tree it can be somewhat viable.
Still think we need swords/axes for this be really good.
Got gifted a key to POE2 a couple days ago but was waiting til the update to play.. and I redeemed it on the wrong account. Emailed support and they can't help with it, so now I DO have access to the game, but only on a account that has 3 forum posts (zero saves, zero purchases, zero achievements).. while my account with my POE1 life (and a small amount of stash tabs) still has no access 😅Didn't think I had more accounts than my Steam one.

So, one tree for AOEs and another for single target
The witch hunter change + the weapon set change just made me decide that Merc is my new starter.
Literally instant weapon swap to a completely different build? That sounds kind of ridiculous. Also it's going to break some already overexerted brains.
I think they are preparing to introduce dual wielding daggers, than you can have a tree for crossbow and another for daggers
This change is crazy
It would be great to use it with new skills
Oh my.. even just a grenade/aoe setup and a separate bolt setup is juicy, potentially with the same weapon or not, as available, witchhunter is back on the menu
