Wizards and Warriors Channel fantasy animated documentary video series on the lore of Warhammer 40k Universe started with the coverage of the Horus Heresy (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2Qq-rUSt7b3K84dXHVM-r_RVLzcJMbUk), but we decided to run a second series on the Black Crusades parallel to it. In the first episode in the series we will discuss what happened after the Horus Heresy and Horus’ fight against the Emperor of Mankind, will discuss the age of Rebirth, how Space Marines were reformed into smaller chapters by primarch Roboute Guilliman, as well as how the traitor forces fully embraced the Chaos and coalesced under the leadership of Abaddon the Despoiler (https://youtu.be/Wya_KwL07uE), beginning the Black Crusades (https://youtu.be/dxavmH0JwjY), followed by the 1st battle of Cadia where the High Marshall Sigismund of the Black Templars fought Abaddon in an epic duel (https://youtu.be/rNNu–7rnSA). In the aftermath, Abaddon continued his quest for ultimate power and fall of the Empire (https://youtu.be/D-JdeWzNBdE), leading to the Second Black Crusade and the First Siege of Cadia (https://youtu.be/W0DL_2sS_9g), and the Devastation of El’Phanor (https://youtu.be/sAFo6Dpplv8), followed by the fifth crusade (https://youtu.be/uvIvra0l3CM), sixth (https://youtu.be/Nzlek4icexg) and seventh black crusades called the Ghost War (https://youtu.be/ERFWt0Ky64w). Afterwards, Abaddon’s 8th and 9th Black Crusades devastate Imperium worlds strategically, starving the imperial war machine (https://youtu.be/TW5mPWp4KUc), while Perturabo returned during the 10th Black Crusade leading to the siege of Medusa (https://youtu.be/Qh2g-1wbaNE). The 11th Black Crusade proved to be the worst, as the Orks ruined and wrecked everything for Abaddon (https://youtu.be/5uDWqC3nVRA). And then the Gothic War Began (https://youtu.be/xhDKjcl40h4). Despite defeats, Ravensburg rallies; Imperial raiding fleets strike Chaos supply lines, preparing for counteroffensives in Gothic War’s next stage (https://youtu.be/Cc2c6jugPrM). As Abaddon’s 12th Black Crusade engulfs the Gothic Sector, Admiral Ravensburg’s battered fleet wages a desperate war to defend humanity’s final bastions (https://youtu.be/zMnYbd9bMhM). Ravensburg outmaneuvers Abaddon; Eldar aid, Abridal’s sacrifice, and Blackstones decide the war (https://youtu.be/igRWHENq3Js). Abaddon launches the 13th Black Crusade, collapsing the Imperium into chaos and bringing Cadia to the brink of annihilation.

Sadly i. m. o. even your gargantuan, tenacious and sisyphus-like endavor with the 13(!) Black Crusades simply can not make the overblown, unlogical and never-ending tale of rewriting Failbaddon in something of a genius, that you had to deal with, any more belivable. If you paint a pig golden, it is still a pig.😉
F. e. Again, the "Cadian Gate" should better be called the "Cadian revolving door", given how often Chaos fleets pass by with impunity – even without some fare-fetched McGuffin at their disposal. And the permanent Imperial incompetence is rather tiring (o. k. it was already, when the Black crusades were still in their single-digits).

Love the video and the properly showcasing Abaddons campaig. The nonsense most in comments spew is not just inaccurate, but extremly boring and unoriginal. Anyways, spectacular video as all in the series on all Black Crusades were. Truly respectful work presenting and even animating the 40k campaign lore. As much as I would love more chaos campaigns be covered, like most recent ones, but cannot deny that seeing other conflicts also covered like this would be amazing.
