I remember seeing that hat man when I was 5 in my grandpas house (he had died earlier and we stayed for a night to move all of his belongings out). I was laying on the bed staring at the wall – it was early morning with sunlight coming in – probably 6 or 7 am. Mum was with me in the bed (pop only had the 1 bed) and I wasn't allowed to get up until she wakes up. As I was looking around I saw this clear pitch black shadow on the wall, was human looking yet wearing an oppenheimer style hat, the eyes were hollowed out. My experience does differ slightly from other accountsin that the mouth was also hollowed out, I saw this comically large cheshire cat grin (no teeth were visible, it was completely hollowed, similar to the eyes). There was no depth to the figure, it looked like a 2D projection or rather, well a shadow… It stared at me for about 4-5 seconds before it fled rapidly out of my vision. I woke my mother up terrifgied, she remembers to this day of me freaking out :s
This was around 1998-1999, I always remembered the event and didn't know anything about shadow people for years. It wasn't until I was bout 16-17 that I stumbled upon the phenomenon on the internet. It really creeped me out, specifically how the same style hat is often reported. I'm open to my experience being some sort of psychological phenomona, but why the heck is the hat an often reported feature? It's like it wants us to know it's not as simple.. So bizzare…
Shadow people are their own entity. My family is native american and i still have family living on reservations. We believe they are from a different dimension. When i was born i was the first female in 32 years and i was born in a full body veil. This is very important to our culture and I was seen by our Shaman/medicine man.
He told my parents I would see many things and i would know things 😬 I've had shadow people in my life since I was young and everyone around me has seen them 😅😅 from my parents and brother to roommates, friends and now my husband the sceptic 😂😂 he and my best friend had never had an experience until they were with me one day and they were chased down the hall by a crawling shadow person. It came out from underneath our bed, I knew what it was so I just watched their reactions and i swear I've never seen my husband so terrified, this was in the middle of the day. She never saw him again and neither has my husband, although I've seen it around him a couple of times. It's like he's just curious and watching 😬 shadow people are very defined like a very tall trim person in a rubber suit. American horror story has one and that's why I couldn't watch it 😂😂😂 if it doesn't look like that its not a shadow person!! If its a dark blob or cloud that's not a shadow person. They aren't see thru, they are blacker than black.
this happened to me whlie as i got sleep paralysis your hepless ladies and gentlemen i say resebled that of a person having a stroke the kind of im going to die like awkening and trust me its the most hleples thing to happen to you cause you can only move your ieyes by force destubing facts this can happen to you but your might just give a wish you failed to find or thaught you would see something from a safe distance wakes you up to let you know your not being paranoid

Shadow people with no features are clearly dark fallen spirits from the Nephelim that were never God ordained hence they have to features. Apparitions that have clearly defined human features are from the light and most likely Angels breaking through into our realm on a mission
the one you said that was filmed by a potato actually has a better quality version i guess you got the bad one lol they went to an abandoned house and saw a black figure upstairs i believe they thought it was a squatter if it was idk who the hell would be living in a place like that with no doors for protection from other people or wild life
i saw a shadow person but i believe it was my grandfather who passed i felt a touch on my shoulder and emotion overcame me

I think you missed a part on #11… After a vehicle crosses the screen from left to right & stops at a gas pump (the guy w the weird shadow u mentioned walks behind the vehicle im talking about). Try starting out at 6:42 minutes of ur video and watch as the shadow peaks it head into the car windows. Yikes!😮
Shadow people are not external entities they are you! a projection of your second self, your spirtual shadow. OBE investigators report seeing entities when returning to the physical self and being terrified but after investigation it turned out its actually thier 'second self' metaphysical. Maybe like looking in the mirror and seeing another person and not you would induce level 10 fear.

Y’all I’ve lived 30 years and never saw sht until about 6 months ago. Shit has been wild in my place. I’ve seen (not out the corner of me eye) dark shadows moving , things slam , glasses move, names are called, lots of weird stuff

I have seen one. This is not made up. I woke up I was fully aware of what is going on around me. This shadow person was right in front of me beside my bed. It was coming towards me and tried to punched me in the face several times.

I used to have sleep paralysis but I never saw anything, so at one time I called on the name of Jesus and I was free from the paralysis and never had any since. Now I once did saw a shadow person working at a previous job.
Those in Christ have complete power and control of these beings. Bring it. Already dealt with two and they gone.
I had a shadow entity appear on my chest, and I did NOT have sleep paralysis. I swung at its head, and my fist went through it, but you could tell it had mass, and my fist and arm felt like I had my hand on a powerful static ball(Van de Graaff generator). When my fist had no effect, I commanded it to leave in the name of Jesus, and it went away. Needless to say I have been thanking God ever since. I had never had a supernatural event happen to me in my life. I was 52 when it happened.
I saw one in my house when I was 12 years old, I had just came home from middle school, it was about 3pm and the shadow man was just watching me eat from about 4 feet away, he was first in my peripheral sight then I turned and saw him staring at me I knew I was not hallucinating, I even blinked several times, then after what seemed like 5-7 minutes he just vanished, I saw him many times in my dreams after that but eventually he went away especially after saying the Krishna mantra!
