Gas Grenade if you lean into debuffs is absolutely cooked. Play it while you can, nerfs are coming.

EDIT: Hotfix deployed, it’s been nerfed. It still absolutely deletes bosses even after the nerf. I will have an update video explaining how to best utilize mechanics shortly.

  1. EDIT: Nerfed deployed. I did a side-by-side comparison of the Cruel A3 Doryani fight I had recorded pre and post-nerf. Um… it's still pretty broken, this still wrecks bosses. First Phase was about 8seconds. Game on.

  4. hey man, i just got to cruel act 1 and im lvl 49, so i cant get one of the supports yet cus idk when uncut supp lvl3 drops but my main question, do i respec my tree to get more grenade damage?

  6. i like this build a lot on bosses but it feels so awkward in mapping to me. still working on my passive tree at level 44 but it feels like the gas grenade isnt popping off quick enough and explosive shot detonation still feels weird compared to when i was mapping mostly using galvanic shards

  7. We need a post nerf video about current version of the build and how to do proper explosion setup. Also mobalytics guide needs a serious overhaul including; tree, recommended gear, gem setup, some of the parts of act text are highly outdated. Its pretty annoying to get tree from the video, including trying to find your explanation for specific nodes.
    We also need a detailed section about ttransitioning into bombs. Im sitll on galvanic + high velo build, shredding bosses and adds in middle of act3 atm. Cant see the point WHEN and WHY to switch actually. It is more buitton and more setup gameplay compared to mine.

  8. Started act 5, and seems like I have just different gas granade because the damage is not even close and it impossible to spamm it as only few of them explodes other just turns to gas and then deal zero damage, and white mobs dies faster from galvanic shards then from explodes

  9. for all the people saying he needs to update the mobalytics, if u read the ENTIRE thing, he typed out the progression at the bottom. i followed his build from level 1, and im exactly where this video shows he is, (build wise)

  10. Thank you so much for your early-game build on Mobalytics! It helped me reach level 25 in Hardcore mode. Here's my current skill setup:

    High Velocity Rounds ~ Double Barrel ~ Scattershot
    Flash Grenade ~ Second Wind
    Galvanic Shards ~ Pierce ~ Lightning Infusion
    Ripwire Ballista ~ Brutality ~ Lockdown
    I'm still a bit confused about your guide, especially how the Skill Gems listed above and below seem different. But I managed to get this far without dying, so thanks again for your amazing help! I also have a few questions:

    Before get Ripwire ballista ,i'm use TOTEM it's a lot help to bait enermy.

    Which path should I follow next? Act 1-3 or Cruel Act 1-3?
    What level do you recommend before attempting the First Ascendancy? I’ve heard a lot of people die there, so I’m considering waiting until level 30.
    While watching your guide, I picked Herald of Ash, but I noticed you later switched to Herald of Thunder. If I die, I’ll make sure to pick the correct one next time.
    Regarding Herald of Ash, in the past, you used a gem that consumed Spirit, but the base Spirit pool is only 30. How were you able to use a Gem + Crystal combo that requires more than 30 Spirit?

  11. i started the game a couple of days ago but i have a couple of unique armours that go so well together, one of them ignites enemies that can SEE YOU! and the other one makes enemies release gas when you walk around their corpses. this is HUGE with there are a lot of trash mobs around tanky enemies, when they die they explode into gas and since every enemy is already ignited just from being around you they set off loads of explosions doing huge damage.

  12. Glad to see things working post nerf! im new to POEs damage vocab so wondering if you can help me with this question:

    Assuming you have grabbed the 15+6 = 21% of "damage penetrates fire resistance" from the passive tree, is it still worth taking the 30% fire penetration support gem? how do i know how much fire resistance enemies/bosses have? (I know you recommend primal armament but how do i know the enemies have had all their fire rez penetrated?)

    I've seen people take varying support gems after scattershot:

    – fire infusion +25% fire damage, this one seems straightforward

    – primal armament – +25% more "weapon elemental damage" – what does this weapon elemental damage mean here? is that equivalent to +25% extra fire damage? my weapon is all physical damage stats since gas grenade scales off the conversion, will this "weapon elemental damage" do anything for me?

    – immolate – "supported Attacks Gain 30% of Damage as Fire Damage against ignited Enemies", if i ignite the oil grenade on an enemy that means they are guaranteed ignited right? this should strictly be better than both of the above i asusme?
