I used to live on Port Island when I was younger we had multiple instances with ghost slamming doors. TV is getting turned on and one instance DVD player blew across the room with me my bro and parents watching tv

Sometimes i wonder if I was having a paranormal experience in my dreams since I was a kid (im in my 50s now). I always would have a dream about this same old lady. I would open a door somewhere and she would be sitting in a chair in the doorway and would let out a bone chilling scream that would wake me up every time. Last time i seen her i was so tired of it happening that i covered my ears, looked back at her and i sucked in air sounding like a jet engine for a minute. Then I let out a scream so loud that i turned her body into dust along with everything in a 50 foot radius. Never seen her again. Yes i had those NEO/MATRIX dream powers long before the movie came out. Just need to be triggered sometimes to use it.

I've got two that aren't very scaryy, just a bit creepy/weird. Up until a couple of weeks ago we had this sweet little black and white terrier who, despite being an old dog (15 at the time of these two stories) loved exploring new places. Cemeteries never bothered her before.

My mom and I went out looking for this old de-consecrated cemetery one day about 3-4 years ago that wer had heard about, just outside town. jPeople call it The Witch's Grave because there's this massive, 200 year old, easily 3 story tall oak tree growing on top of one of the ancient graves, its roots slowly taking over a couple of the simple markers nearby. I can't stress just how bloody big this tree is.

As we're checking out the names and dates on the grave markers we can identify, we realize the dog has disappeared. We search around the little cemetery plot, whistling and calling for her, but she's nowhere to be seen. Finally, I walk around the car, and there she is, cowering behind the tire and staring at the door like "LET ME IN I WANT TO GO NOW!" We have never, ever seen her behad like that before, or since. It was just the two of us plus the dog out there.

The second time, visiting a different cemetery, but just as rural and forgotten about. This one actually has some of my family buried there, my great grandparents and a few great grand aunts and uncles, but this cemetery is so overgrown, buried in forest, that Mom asked me to stay in the car while she looked for the graves because she didn't want me to step on a snake (I'm blind by the way – not toally, but legally, meaning I have some sight, but wouldn't see, say, a snake, until I was right on top of it)

So, the dog and I are sitting in the car while she goes to investigate this little forgotten cemetery. Suddenly, the dog sits up and starts staring at… something. I try to follow her line of sight, but I don't see anything. She starts slowly moving her head from left to right, like she's watching someone walk by. All I can see is the tree line. I get my phone out to try and use the camera to see who, or what, she sees, and there's just nothing there.

Now for the creepy part. Mom gets back in the car, and I tell her what just happened. She turns pale and says "I just came back because I kept hearing someone walking around behind me, but every time I turned to look, there wasn't anyone there."

Like I said, not terribly scary, just creepy as heck 🙂

I knew the one with the view of the cemetery was a Japanese story. They are really superstitious about living near cemeteries. Don't blame them! Also, the prison guards being scared of just your average ghost? I think they are experiencing something way worse, otherwise tough people like them wouldn't be so scared. The dog like being in the cemetery, that is a guardian, sort of like a hell hound. You need to ask permission to go into cemeteries or you risk encountering these beings. If you hear something in your head, unless you know you are schizophrenic (and do check that out), you may be hearing a spirit or spirits talking to you. This is a form of clairaudience or clear hearing.
