I’m sorry to break it to you but car senses definitely cannot detect ghosts. This is nothing more than a malfunction and if it’s not a malfunction it’s detecting something else not a spirit from beyond the grave but a physical object that it thinks is human but it’s not.
I used to do rideshare, and I had an amazing electric car with all the bells and whistles. Rideshare driving will take you hours from home and into some astonishingly remote places. I utterly loved the adventure. Anyhoo, my cameras would frequently pick up anomalies. If they creeped me out, I would move on. (We often stop and rest to wait for the next call.) But yeah, they would detect people around my car that were not there. I have no clue if this footage is real, but if you drive a lot, you will see some very strange and interesting things.
I think ghosts and spirits tend to glow slightly…so they are easier to spot in the darkness. But they would be there in the daytime/light as well, just invisible to our eyes.
