I found it quite thoughtful of the creature that was chasing him, to wait for the guy, when he paused while climbing out, in order to fix the correct camera angle and only resume the chase once he was laying on the hatch…
Nothing sketchy about that, comes across as very credible and not staged at all…… 😉
I once read that there are many people in the US who say they have never (and will never) been in their attic or in their basement, even if they have been living in that house for years and years….
I can’t imagine anyone just skipping a whole floor of their house, regardless if it’s up or down.
I have moved house an incredible (or rather: insane) number of times: over 35 times (I am 56 years old), but I have never ever ignored a certain part of my home.
Even if I wouldn’t use that space, I always made sure to check it out, right after moving in (sometimes have someone else check it out for me).
I don’t think I could handle not knowing what is up (or down) there…
Who knows….
There might be a bag full of GOLD (💰🥇👑 🏅), hidden in the attic by one of the previous occupants of the house… 😉

There might be a huge HOLE in the roofing, allowing all sorts of creepy critters (🐀 🦝 🐁) to enter…
…and/or letting rain (🌧️🌨️) through the roofing, which could cause lots of damage, without even realizing that that’s going on, so that damage will get worse and worse and worse!!!

I had a quick google search on this and it turns out that one survey showed that approximately 30% of homeowners with attics in the US have never entered them and another survey found that 1 in every 10 US homeowners with attics have never SEEN their attic!!

I think it takes too long to get to the scary part, sometimes its just anticlimactic with no scary part.
