I am confused where is the actual build guide ?
Anybody knows why swapping xbows no longer works if the xbows are not loaded? I have them binded correctly and yet, if the other has no ammo, selecting the skill does nothing unless I manually reload. This didn't happen before and it's super annoying.
Bleed is quite viable now… a ton of bleed nodes on the merc tree area now

All the changes look good, but as long as the endgame is "routing to towers" to get more juice I will not play it. ITs just not fun to play, for watching it doesnt matter but for playing its straight poop.

FYI, the Tacticians defend with 200% armor, 50% max phys reduction node already exists in the Goregirdle belt. I played 50k armor (counts as 100k) Blackbraid build with it this league and it was still waste of investment. From my testings it either didn't seem to work at all, or armor was just useless in general.
Hear me out: Witch Hunter, 100 weapon skill points, elemental aegis, full deflect and evasion, Hollow Palm with another unarmed instant weapon swap 😂
but I will start as Tactician, just absurd crowd control and pin scaling with 4 ascendancy points

Galvanic shots and that ice move and fragmentation shots awesome 3 combos

What about bandwagon deadeye? It has everything what it takes to make it good for xbows 🙂 Thailwind is so op and new reworked nodes make it completely busted
8:00 totems do snapshot their stats, but there are a couple of notables that give +1 max totems which you'll have to take on both trees to not lose them whenever you swap trees, which will be at least 7 passive points that will do nothing to your other swap (could still be pretty good, but its something to have in mind)

Question. If you drop a mortar cannon then swap weapons do the mortars still have the passive from the first weapon or will it just use your current weapon tree that you have out? Cause would that lose all your totem nodes making you lose all the damage from that weapon set?

I really appreciate this video! I hope to drop into your stream on live. Ive filed probably 20 pages on my ipad with mercenary questions and ideas. Having never played one and no reference for tree going to be fun. Ive only played Monk but that was on early release drop. Im excited to see what I can make with Mercenary! Im new to the POE family and some of it still over my head since Im still learning. Im just going to slow roll through campaign, learn the feel, and probably suck at it for a while. All the changes make me feel a little better about being a newbie.

First ever build for poe2 was grenades for me. Can’t wait to come back and do it again with buffs. Last patch they fixed crossbows, now they add all this crazy shit. Grenade build is eating, can’t wait

isnt scattershot simply terrible for nades? 3 proj at 100% damage vs 5 proj at 65% damage, you're going from 300% to 325% at the cost of attack speed. it's even worse on deadeye. yeah it's more coverage but I'd rather just use magnified effect

Ratha's Assault on galvanic shard is about to be DIIIIIIIIIRTY. i cant remember the life of me whose video it was but it was on the galvanic shard changes and the skill has something of a like 37% overall increase in the change from the skill with the way it was changed into. being able to then have that fire power in one shot + what were getting with ratha's assault and we get 4 bolts in total now…. that like… so much more damage than what we were doing previously im super excited to try this out
