Yes they are not the gloves if your looking for the most tooltip dps but that's also not the reason people like to play it .
Since when playing hollow palm you r missing the weapon crit modifier it's really hard to gain high crit chance (except for with energy shield trough hollow palm) and the gloves give you up to + 1.1 to your base crit chance. (which is generally stronger then increased crit chance) so that's pretty nice but also the skill Is really awesome and the Maine reason I played them it basically gives you a baby herald of thunder that's great for culling .
One last thing. If you get them if anyhow possible try to get a pair with 2 sockets as that will greatly increase their effectiveness even more

17-331 added lighting damage up to 5 times every 1/2 second in an aoe of 1.4m just from crackling palm, plus support gems, then you add the rest of the gloves, so if you arent adding those mods to your calcs then you are wasting everyones time, do an actual like for like please.
Crit dmg +2mele skills light attack are not cheap gloves lol but I see ur point

Respectfully, you my friend clearly don't understand how thunder fist works.
Also showing the damage decrease on a skill like that is very funny.
So yeah, utility constant shocks no matter the skill you use, better base crit chance, and crazy flat dmg, and attack speed, let alone the chance to vaal + melee is not crazy at all, oh and the free passive abilities damage not even utility adding on an extra few thousand damage. Looking at tool tip when there are a plethora of passives around the tree like increased crit chance on dazed or blinded opponents exist is wild. ofc ~+1% base crit won't be much of an increase if you are missing all the other stuff that would run through the calculations, you are missing those, shocks, increased damage from consistently procing passives on the tree and many more things.
Cheaper gloves don't give out better crit and more damage multipliers like these gloves for any skill you have, especially on a class like Invoker. That much attack speed is huge QoL as well for just being able to strike first on a character who is melee… this video is fucked.

Alright so what you did not mention is that Crackling Palm is a whopping 730% effectiveness of added damage on top of whatever you're using, so its kinda cracked

Yes, but what are you going to spend your div on later unless you decide to change a character? There are tons of build that is pretty much completed at around 5d but people are willing to spend 40 more d just to get that 30% more dmg
Didn't you skip over the main part of the gloves? 1.1% base crit. As we can only get base crit from energy shield as hollow palm
So all of your rolls are low, especially crit and that’s how you compare it? Brother do a full comparison with at least one percent crit chance
my brother – good but cull is 5%more damage and sheet DPS means nothing.
