I did the ice shot build last league following Aeros guide (with some personal changes), and chilling on stream. Cleared all content (didn't do Uber Arbiter, couldn't be bothered) within a week or two before I quit. For this season, I was torn between doing Blood mage or Witch Hunter, and was set on BM… But now, looks like it'll be another Aero build league start again lol
Clear looks sick, but what's the boss damage like on this?

Always love these cold builds, just ran cold on the last poe league as well
I played this combination in 0.3 on Tactician, here are my thoughts:
1) Achieving damage where PB alone is enough to clear packs and even rares is pretty easy
2) PB looks and feels way better than Galvanic Shards, especially after GS rework
3) Freeze+Fragmantation Rounds unfortunatelly doesn't scale well in the endgame. Repeatedly freezing bosses takes too much time for not enough payoff, using FR for pure physical damage was way better. It's sad they didn't fix it. Maybe adding grenades would help, I didn't try it yet.
Do you think this is hardcore viable? I want to play hardcore and im sick of the lich and want to try newly buffed sorcery ward.
It would be shame if someone instantly buys out every glove that gets posted on trade
hi i’m sort of a noob, i really want to do a Van Helsing roleplay this upcoming season, Witch hunter merc that can turn into a werewolf. would that be possible? werewolf is my priority, so if the werewolf form will be much weaker than werewolf druid i’d rather just go druid, thanks!

Played this last league as my leaguestarter. The ST damage was a bit sus towards T4 bosses. Frag Rounds just doesn't do enough damage and the freeze buildup "cooldown" is a bit too long. Tried running with Overwhelming Presence and it still felt too slow. Was running with Hailstorm Rounds to supplement single target but the three-way weapon/bolt swap is an acquired taste, to say the least. Not really convinced on this shell, at least, not until the single target gets "solved" in some way.
Thoughts on swapping to Concentration ascendency nodes instead of Culling/Decimating once we have enough damage on trash packs?
i wonder if it is better to focus on armor if you play on hc, since going to evasion nodes takes so long, i understand your thought process that evading hits->faster sorcery ward recharge, less deplition etc, but in terms of hc, should i prioritize armor nodes first, what do you think?

Did we consider that nova projectiles only works once every 8 seconds now. Nova is done for
played permafrost bolt build from Wudijo last week just to try and had so much fun in ssf. It is a wee bit clunky on start but it does imroove smoothly with faster reload speed and chance to not consume bolts from tree passives. And with the pierce buffs itll be even better. Looking forward to try your variant on the start of the league..

I did this build last league, it was great during story but i did tactician.
I ended up swapping to mortar grenade spam later on but the build is good

I wish I could enjoy crossbows. They just feel so clunky and frustrating to me. I've started and gave up on like 6 different crossbow characters haha.

This is the build I played on 0.3 league and felt amazing, so I understand it only gets better on 0.4.
I wanted to play something different this league but I'm bad going blind so I might repeat this build with you. I didn't use grenades tho as in the end banner+shotgun FR was enough to 2-3 shot bosses.
