It would be awesome to have a complete mod for hl2 that changed all night scenes to sunny ones, and all sunny ones to night ones. I would love to see what the bridge part of the Highway 17 chapter would look like with a night setting.

As person who likes the night time I can say I love this mod
to me this improves the atmosphere in every way. the nighttime metro chased by police and the foggy day surrounded by zombies really accentuates the game’s reap and sow storytelling. like nighttime is when the crimes against humanity happen and daytime is the scene of the crime.
my only suggestion is to cut almost all artificial lights in Ravenholm. kinda like how vanilla Highway 17 bathes the beach house interiors in a natural light. boarded up windows could have daylight seep in through the cracks. doors in hallways could be slightly open but blocked by furniture. the lack of electricity combined with Father Gregory emerging from the fog with generator powered machinery would be extremely eerie
also Breen ascending at the end of the game at sunrise that’s perfect

Maybe I'm in the minority but my fav is Anticitizen One during night time.
The chopper having red lights at the tip of it's wings and tail seems more iconic of an intimidating enemy to look forward to facing rather than being annoyed by it pestering you.

Nighttime City 17 is gorgeous, but i really hope they just not shift the time to make it darker but the weather as well. Like a rain or thunderstorm in Nova Prospekt or Follow Freeman chapter.

This is exceptionally tastefully done. Foggy Ravenholm works surprisingly well and nighttime City 17 is just… How was that not a thing in the original game? Gorgeous.
