When it said Carol it may have been referring to Carol Connors who was a singer and song writer, they were both eachothers first loves from 1964 – 1965. After you guys were talking about Vietnam and wars and jt said the name Jane, it may have been referring to Janie wilbanks now jane gowen, they dated for about 10 months whe in elvis was stationed in Germany. It could have also been referring to Jane Elliot who starred with him in his final film.
