I am 7th generation. He was my 7 G Grandfather by Catherine VanderPoole.
My grandfather, love this information! Thank you!
Their might of been some concidences but most of what has happened is probably the result of the curse.
My great great great great great great grandfather chief cornstalk.
Wow-what a great video guys
Starting my comment at the beginning…like I usually do. Doesn't everyone?
This is so interesting. You don't get to hear much about the British treaties before the Revolutionary War.
Just detaining any Native American they came across…not much has changed in 200 years.
1. Sounds like the curse worked. They just can't have nice things.
2. Ooh! Good question! I don't know that much would have changed. The outcome of the war was not completely dependent on the western frontier areas.
3. I don't know. It seems like there were things happening before he got moved.
I wasn't expecting a quiz! Hope I got the right answers. LOL. Thanks for sharing. Really interesting.
Opening up the comments now…
Chief Cornstalk was a TOUGH dude! That was quite a lot for him to say after being shot 8 times.
Lots of awful things!!!
Mothman! While I am on the road.
Supposedly!!! HAHA! That is mysterious.
I still don't know if I believe in curses or not yet.
If there is unrest for Cornstalk, they moving him is a BIG deal. Great video!
Thanks for the history again Folks. Below my attempt at your questions.
1. Possible but many places could have the same "curse" of disasters of that period.
2. No change I suspect
3. Yes possibly
PS Point Pleasant is not on my list of places to buy a property LOL
