Point Pleasant Cemetery | DR. RESPONSIBLE FOR SAVING MILLIONS OF LIVES | Our Haunted Travels
In July of 2019, we traveled along the Ohio River down to Point Pleasant, West Virginia. During this road trip one of the locations we stopped at was the town’s oldest burial grounds. One of the graves in this cemetery is that of Dr. Jesse Bennett (July 10, 1769 —July 13, 1842) was the first American physician to perform a successful Caesarean section, which he performed on his own wife at the birth of their only child on January 14, 1794.
