REAL Black Ghost Caught in the Philippines?

This may look like a simple, blurry picture of two kids, but if this creeps you out, that’s because there’s supposed to be only one of them. While preparing for a local amateur basketball competition in 2003, this footage was recorded on camera. However, this mysterious person was not seen by anyone at that time. Yes, this could be just another person, but it is argued that this figure has no shadow and is too dark even when it’s facing the light. To this day, this mysterious figure is considered to be one of the clearest full-body apparitions in the Philippines. But is it actually real? It’s up to you to decide…

  1. Its real. Im from the Philippines and im just 8. On 3:00am maybe. My tita said she saw someone. She said to me its just a shadow. She also said its neck was skiny. I'll make a video of were it came from. Bonus: my brother also saw that and it was from February

  2. There's nowhere else in the world where not a single paranormal occurence wasn't ever experienced nor documented. Philippines is no exception. But being born and raised in Manila, I'm also familiar to the eeriely mystical impression by some places in our country–particularly the rural regions in Visayas deemed to be the most haunted (or mystical and mythical). The practice of magic and occultism in there is still prevalent–but the kind of which that are still relatively tied to its primeval origins–unlike the western form of magic and witchcraft that are considerably somehow have evolved and have been affected by modern time.

The Filipino paradigm of the occult still remain as some of the most superstitious and archaic ones, and yet also the most ominous and mysterious. For post-millenials like myself, the kind of intuition and intellect necessary to grasp the reality of these so-called "myths", are now misinterpreted and reduced down to fancy make-believe. The study of spiritual realities was reduced down to two dead ended branches between pseudo-science and religion.

Filipino's sense and knowledge of the metaphysical was then overshadowed by a colonially induced amnesia–our sense of the paranormal is an enigma in itself, since we our long then darkly obscured from our past.

That fact that the Philippines holds a stupendous amount of forgotten history just makes me realize "why not shouldn't I think our land isn't haunted?".
