i wondered if the metal brace was placed there as a landmark for something they were doing 2 show somebody where 2 go because i know people who used 2 live up there and they said that they were in that cemetery a lot my step sister used 2 go there a lot and so did my step mother i dont know them that well but they didnt tell me the truth about why they were there out
My guess is that the metal brace was originally put there to hold up the gravestone, but the gravestone broke in half anyway.
