Good luck with the new Adventure! I'm a Mother of two 80's daughters (who never wished for Lego). A year ago I asked my sister-in-law if I could "borrow" the totes of my nephews Lego she tried to sell in a yard sale and nobody wanted. So I'm your "mom" if she had hauled all your bricks out of the basement and decided to see what she could build.
Just learning quirks of Bricklink from nearly completing the Lion Knights Castle from parts I (didn't) have. Castles are fast becoming a new favorite. My son-in-law DID play with Lego. A few weeks ago oldest daughter brought me his childhood collection from the 80s and his TREASURE is in my safe keeping for now. Fun figuring out what sets he (and 2 brothers) had. Now where did I put that ghost? (Container for special parts so I wouldn't lose them most likely)
