Mercenary looks like a very strong class in Path of Exile 2 Beta, skill set is great and both Ascendancies feel very strong.
Witch hunter focuses on devastating damage and heavy hitting while Gemling Legionnaire is a utility and stacking oriented class ascendancy.

I like merc. But the aiming is broken with controller and the ammo reload has so many bugs right now. Most times you dont even shoot . I know its EE. But man fix it plz
Question for ya, I work 60-80 hour weeks so I’ll be far behind other players. I want to either absolutely mag dump into enemies with quick reload speed and fast attack speed or be a 1 shot wonder with that laser skill and have a shotty focused as a 2nd. Is that possible with this class?

stupid class keeps on reloading. other classes don't need to do that even the ranger don't need to reload arrows lol.

Between the instant guaranteed damage, 30% culling strike on white mobs and the explosion on kill effect, he seems like he'll clear really well if you are able to roll higher pack density on your maps.
Culling strike has been nerfed. Concentration no good

Where did you get the cull % information? didn't know we'd been given info like that yet. I get the hype is real, but so much content being released for a game that isn't even in early access yet is crazy. People talking about how good certain classes are and how strong they feel just makes no sense.

The Mercenary looks amazing. This will definitely be my starter. Figuring out how not to take all the DMG in your face will be an interesting adventure.I can't wait anymore 🎉🎉🎉
Witchhunter = focus on crossbow
Legionnaire = focus on hybrid builds
The small node that is before the 3 additional skill for the gemling slots is 3% increase of attributes. Which makes me thing most of his small nodes might be such.
Breaking fully concentration on bosses has nothing to do with attacks, it let's them cast 50% less. Only Casts, not attacks as far as i know
I cannot decide whether to play witch hunter, blood mage or chronomancer.
