The tunnels just aren’t safe for underwater exploring anymore, they are coming apart at the seams due to the constant heavy equipment they are running over them daily…but we take on last shot to rescue some antique bottles before the whole thing caves in.

always feel the bottom of bottles if it has the ribby circle line embossing on the bottom is a post-1950 bottle it's an embossed bottle without the bottom ribbing its pre-1950 quite simple
old glass molds used to open in 2 parts modern molds rely on shrink ribbles or lines following the base in a circular fashion since the base opens up to release the bottle
older fashions might be hand blown into 2 part wet wood molds that parted at the seem
some of these older wood blown bottles might even have the woods grain inprinted into the glass
