Cool find. There were 'kinda' a few of these that came out around the same time… Dracula Untold (2014) you've seen, Seventh Son (2014) reuniting Julianne Moore with Jeff Bridges, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, lol (2013) with Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton, Season of the Witch (2011) with Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman. Guy Ritchie's King Arthur (2017) is like one and half good movies. They should have kept at it and filmed what felt like missing/deleted scenes, or cut away and have a tight one-movie. It's fun and still has that Guy Ritchie camaraderie aspect which I like.
Hey, If you've never watched the 2004 Van Helsing Movie. I highly recommend it. I personally would call it my favorite movie as it got me into the whole fantasy genre, though I would consider more of a cult classic. The movie has some really good visual effects for when it came out and I think its definitely deserving of a watch.
Either way, I enjoy getting your opinions on movies. Always interesting to hear other peoples takes on movies they're experiencing for the first time.
