Ranking Pokemon Types in Unova (Tier List)

Pokemon types are properties that apply to Pokémon and their respective moves. These aspects affect the power of moves in battles, and there’s a plethora of Pokemon types in the Pokemon games, like the fire, water, grass, dragon, electric, fairy, dark, ghost and more! And you know what’s a region that has a bunch of Pokemon of almost all typings? Unova! But which type would do best in a Journey in Unova in Pokemon Black and White, without minding Pokemon variation, availability and power? Let’s rank them and check out the tier list we made!

I fundamentally disagree with this tier list. Neutral coverage is far more important than super effective coverage offensively, and resistances are far more important than weaknesses defensively. As well as just the individual members of each type. Water is an amazing generalist type, but gets worn down by low quality mons in this gen, the only exceptions being Seismitoad and Jellicent.
2:49 Despite this, I will still use my shiny Sawsbuck
I just personally cannot agree with the normal type placement! I don’t think it’s a top tier but it’s most definitely not bottom, they’re always accessible early, the early normal types like to evolve early too which help and then like you said they have great versatility. I feel like normal has way more pros than cons and can easily be C or even B tier if you wanna be a little biased LOL but yea idk I think a type so neutral doesn’t excel so high but doesn’t perform so low like how you ranked it
The first 3 arent possible for ice type. You can't catch an ice mon till right before gym 5. None of the mons themselves are that strong
You know that fairy type doesn’t even exist in gen 5, don’t you?
YESSIR (we should collab sometime in the future)
Bro should’ve done more research before making this…
Could make a Video about b2 & w2 next.
Psychic having 'less' weakness than Water in Gen5 is pure BS.
Plus in Gen 5 Steel resists Ghost and Dark as well
steel resists ghost and dark in gen 5
Fighting , I'm predicting the vid it's going to be fighting in my first Pokémon black play through i picked emboar and it carried
Is this video ragebait…?
In my Black 1 hack I noticed how theres only 3 poison lines in the game and poison is only good against grass pre-fairy
So I tried making poison more of a support role
Poison can proc easier on certain moves, Scolipede with poison touch and poison tails 50% poison rate means its constantly getting poisons off. So moves like Hex and Venoshock are so much stronger
I similarly buffed ice type allowing freeze and stat reductions to proc more often, knowing Im only buffing 3 pokemon lines.
❤❤❤❤❤
Wouldn’t a Psychic run get walled by N’s purrloin?
I will destroy your blender. : )
7:23 "with a lack of a Water type boss battle"
um, Marlon in the sequels?
>Grass and poison being bad types in game
> The Grass-poison Amoongus winning a bunch competitively
I kind of find it strange that, given your definition at the start, including they would always use moves of their type, electric and ghost should've been F, because they simply won't be able to complete the game, geeying walled by Lenora and Clay
I don't wanna be that guy
Buuuuut
If u consider gen5 than steel has 11 resistances (no fairy but ghost+dark) which is 2 elite four members which it mighr get the steel type higher on the list
Bug haters seething ❤ our fellas run the show vs the Elite Four
Don't sleep ojnj normal types, early retaliate is very much op, and it stays like that for all the duration of the game
Fairy? In Unova? Blasphemy!
Not me doing a grass monotype right now and seeing how places bottom 3 (still doing it, there're too many pure grass types tho)
Bet it will be interesting to use a Fairy type Pokémon if Unova gets faithfully remade
