  1. I fundamentally disagree with this tier list. Neutral coverage is far more important than super effective coverage offensively, and resistances are far more important than weaknesses defensively. As well as just the individual members of each type. Water is an amazing generalist type, but gets worn down by low quality mons in this gen, the only exceptions being Seismitoad and Jellicent.

  2. I just personally cannot agree with the normal type placement! I don’t think it’s a top tier but it’s most definitely not bottom, they’re always accessible early, the early normal types like to evolve early too which help and then like you said they have great versatility. I feel like normal has way more pros than cons and can easily be C or even B tier if you wanna be a little biased LOL but yea idk I think a type so neutral doesn’t excel so high but doesn’t perform so low like how you ranked it

  3. In my Black 1 hack I noticed how theres only 3 poison lines in the game and poison is only good against grass pre-fairy
So I tried making poison more of a support role

Poison can proc easier on certain moves, Scolipede with poison touch and poison tails 50% poison rate means its constantly getting poisons off. So moves like Hex and Venoshock are so much stronger

I similarly buffed ice type allowing freeze and stat reductions to proc more often, knowing Im only buffing 3 pokemon lines.

  4. I kind of find it strange that, given your definition at the start, including they would always use moves of their type, electric and ghost should've been F, because they simply won't be able to complete the game, geeying walled by Lenora and Clay

  5. I don't wanna be that guy
    Buuuuut
If u consider gen5 than steel has 11 resistances (no fairy but ghost+dark) which is 2 elite four members which it mighr get the steel type higher on the list
