BIOEFFECT Cellular Age-Defying EGF Serum Review- 🆕 @ Sephora

– While I was at Sephora in Australia I picked up several products from brands that are hard to find back in the US. I purchased a few bottles of the Bioeffect EGF Cellular Age Defying Serum to try it out after the Sephora Employees explained the background of the product to me. When I returned home I used most of the little serum bottles and didn’t notice any difference- although it did leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated- which you should expect since glycerin is the second ingredient. I saved one mini bottle for a rainy day. The actual highlighted ingredient- EGF- stands for epidermal growth factor – is the last ingredient, and if you live in one of the countries where the use of actual human epidermal growth factor is banned (USA, Europe, Australia, many many countries) you are getting Barley instead. I don’t recommend this product, even if you live in another country where the human EGF isn’t banned I still wouldn’t recommend it because it can be risky to use actual human epidermal growth factor since it can cause cancer and over growth of skin cells (it is banned for a reason). Glycerin costs around a dollar an ounce so this company is charging 1000% of the cost of what makes up the bulk of this product.

Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hordeum Vulgare Seed Extract, Egf (Barley Sh-Oligopeptide-1).

  1. Okay so your video has been the most beneficial to me I have been trying these EGF serums for over a year now and I was not made aware by anyone that pretty much I'm paying for nothing because you can't even get them in the United States I really appreciate you regardless I only paid $40 for a full size of what you are reviewing right now that is because I found a store who brings in bought out stores

  2. I was given two generous samples this year while in Germany, and it worked well for dry skin. I wonder if it was the barley extract or the original formula. I have a feeling it works well for some people. A very small amount of product needed. Too pricey though!

  3. Australian here. Hope you enjoyed your trip down under. I tried a sample of this and noticed a distinct radiance upon awakening. Consumers seem very divided on this product though….

  4. Yes they suck I have stopped using them, I bought them last summer. I do regret spending so much money on a product that is just like coconut oil, makes u break out. The drops are going in the trash now.

  5. Total waste of money and before I bought it I checked so many false paid partnerships reviews on YouTube so I thought it is the thing after been using it on and off for few months realized that I was scammed by these reviews and indeed its totally worthless, I paid 120 euros as I live in Europe don't even bother second guessing this brand

  6. Well ok, BUT Glycerin is NOT that good, in fact the hidrating effect only comes because it pulls the hidration from deeper layers to the surface layers of the skin. I guess no one wants that!!

  7. I don't care how much profit company makes, as long as the product works. You seem to focus too much on profits, rather than performance of the product. Also, this product is based on plant genes. Not sure where the notion of human genes and substitutes come from.

  8. I am glad you let people know that the actual ingredient isnt in there anymore, most won't know that sadly. I dont think we should mock people for the price, cuz the alternative for many people is surgery which is MUCH more expensive. If it worked, $200 would be nothing for those results.

  9. The Bioeffect EGF has saved my skin. I have dry skin with mild acne and my skin tends to overproduce sebum to try and be less dry, it's just a whole mess. I had a lot of premature wrinkles, especially in my forehead, most likely due to my dry skin. This is the only product that made a difference and helped my skin. It hydrated my skin and minimized my huge pores and got rid of my wrinkles. Also my skin is glowing! Obviously not every product out there is going to work for everyone, especially if you only have minor skin concerns then I don't think this product is for you, but I believe that most of these bad reviews are from incorrect use! This product should not be used together with other skin care products since the effective ingredient EGF is highly sensitive. It should not be used with cleansers that contain any type of oil or vitamin and you also shouldn't use it with other moisturizers. This serum is created to be used only as it is, without any thing under or on top of it. Otherwise the EGF ingredient won't be effective and you obviously won't get results. Also, a little goes a long way so if you feel like it isn't penetrating your skin your probably applying too much or not cleansing the skin properly (no oil or vitamins) beforehand.

PS you talked about that you don't like some of the ingredients in this product, please keep in mind that the serum only contains 7 ingredients! That is very little for a skin care product, go and look at other serums and compare! Also certain ingredients are essential to keep the EGF ingredient fresh and active.

  10. I was skeptical but I bought a product called body intensive serum from them and got the egf serum as a gift and in just 1 month of using it on my saggy stomach I have noticed a huge difference, I have almost no wrinkles on my stomach and my stretch marks are almost completely faded!
