If we doesn’t consider his intentions, just his action, I actually will consider he just some crazy scientist, the tamayo is complete opposite to the doctors, lady tamayo actually will tell her patients what will do to their body.
In muzan era, the medical treatment is actually not that of a good thing by people, they actually more often use pray or religion ritual to cure their illness, muzan try to use “incompetent doctor” to save himself is actually crazy move by the people in that era, and consider his long time experience close to death, it’s really logical for him despair in the last year of dying, and boiling anger to the worse condition create by his doctor, in the end kill his doctor.
