I use to live in an old farm house in Suffolk with my kids. Near Stradbroke, and it was a large place, in one of the children's bedroom when we lifted the carpet there was carvings on the wooden floor. In the sittingroom the lords prayer carved into the mantle piece backwards… we were never scared in it while we were renting it but when a friend came to visit the first time, he came up the path and just stopped. When i asked if all was ok he said he just felt that the house didnt want him there..! .
