Crinkle top brownie recipe ( check description for recipe)

Crinkle top fudgy Brownies 🍫✨

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup dutch processed cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 light brown sugar , spooned and leveled
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup semi sweet chocolate, chopped
3 eggs, room temp
1/2 cup all purpose flour
Pinch of salt
3 tbsp olive oil

Method:

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 8*8 inch pan with parchment paper on all sides and set aside.

Place the butter in a saucepan and set over medium low heat. Once the butter starts to foam. Stir and scrape the butter from the bottom and sides of the pan every 10 seconds. After 6-8 minutes the milk solids will sink to the bottom of the pan and start turning brown. As soon as the butter smells nutty and toasted, and turns a deep golden brown, it’s ready! Immediately transfer it to a heatproof bowl to cool. Add cocoa powder, oil, vanilla and chopped chocolate. Mix until chocolate has melted and cocoa powder is completely dissolved.

In a separate bowl crack 3 eggs. Add light brown sugar. Now whisk it for 5-6 minutes or until the sugar is completely dissolved in the eggs.

Note: It’s really important to Dissolve sugar in eggs for crackly top.

Once the sugar is completely dissolved add powdered sugar and mix for another 1-2 min until completely mixed.

Add in the browned butter mixture ( once cooled ) in the egg mixture. Toss in all purpose flour and chocolate chips. Mix until well combined.

Transfer to prepared 8*8 baking dish and bake for 30 minutes. When done, the tops will be shiny and if you test with a toothpick some crumbs will cling to it. Let them cool in the pan for 1-2 hour before cutting.

When it’s time to cut the brownies, use a very sharp knife, run hot water onto the knife to warm it up and use a wet paper towel to clean off the knife in between cuts. Enjoy!

  3. ok cool but here's a simple brownie recipe:

    Ingredients:

    – 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter

    – 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

    – 2 large eggs

    – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    – 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder

    – 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour

    – 1/4 teaspoon salt

    – 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

    – Optional: 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips or chopped nuts

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.

    2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

    3. Whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth and combined. Add the melted butter and mix well.

    4. *Sift in the cocoa powder*, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until fully incorporated. The batter should be thick.

    5. Optional: Fold in the chocolate chips or nuts if using.

    6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

    7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. If you prefer fudgy brownies, bake for a shorter time; for more cake-like brownies, bake a little longer.

    8. Let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing and serving.

    Enjoy your brownies

  4. This was an OKAY recipe, I found that it started to BURN on top and I thought I overcooked them but when I cut them after letting them cool fully. I found out it was basically the batter. I did everything correctly but the taste was amazing, I may try this again. Recommend it for a mug cake brownie.
