The TRUTH About Spirit Boxes!

I tend to think it's audio pareidolia, in the sense that when we get what we think is a coherent response, we immediately jump on it and say it's paranormal. We then forget the vast majority of scans which produce nothing intelligent. I'm kind of on the fence too, but I'm sceptical of how we only jump on the perceived intelligent responses, and make them fit (even when they aren't always clear). Unless there is a true conversation that displays intelligence, it will never be truly evidential. All that said, it's still very interesting when you get something that appears good, but it will always be subjective and therefore not real evidence.

There is a scientific way to prove it. This is my theory on the entire spirit box. First, you as an investigator are trying to establish communication with a spirit. Taking this into consideration you have to know something about the technology you are using. Because if you are talking to someone say from the 1700's how the heck do they know what the heck your device is much less how to use it. You have to be patient and willing to teach a spirit. Let them play with it for a while. Once they get the hang of it you might find yourself having a nice conversation with someone from the other side. I don't think you could be so lucky to get 2 live radio broadcasts of the exact same word in one session. The odds of that are paranormal in itself. I wont say that it is a perfect device either because looking at it from a scientific point of view. Being the ghost trying to give you a response and all I have to work with for answers is the words I can piece together from a radio signals… that seem a bit hard at the least. If you are exploring somewhere where you get like one radio station, that really limits the kind and quality of a response. That is one of the same problems I have with Ouija Boards as well. In an episode i watched one of your earlier ones, you did a session and asked if a spirit could spell out a word for you and it said no. My thoughts behind that were well what if it cant read? The first thing with proving something works or not is to get confirmation. If you say can you tell me your name and it says Billy, then you ask it did you just say your name was Billy, and it answers with anything but Yes or some derivative then you know you are dealing with something else. Now also take into count asking too much before getting a coherent reply as well. If you say is your name tom and are you the person who died here, and before it responds to either of those questions you ask it a different question. If you were a spirit how would you react? Answer one question at a time? Or maybe just feel put off and walk away? The key to spirit communication is "CONNECTION" (when Griff had that emf talking to him telling him it was female and that she wanted him to follow her, he could have had much more communication, but he wasn't prepared to ask specific questions as he had no idea who it was he was speaking to and with that type of communication it would have taken a lot of work. If you can get a spirit to show you sentience, as an investigator it is up to you to hold on to it and grow that evidence. I think you guys are growing and doing well so far. Don't lose faith in your techniques, your beliefs, your objectives, and don't lose sight of your objectiveness. Just because you get a spirit to tell you something does not mean that spirits can't lie. So yes everything with a grain of salt but if you can link it all together you can build yourself something more solid. (that is just my opinion and theory around it) (also something I mentioned earlier) the voice on the spirit box does not reflect the spirit. Just because the voice is female does not make the spirit female and the same for male or elderly or youth or ethnicity.

I enjoyed the content ste ..very interesting. I'm in 2 minds regarding the spirit box.

What if you tried a spirit box without the antenna? You wouldn't get the radio signals but anything else close creating radio waves or fluctuations would get picked up

You should have written down those 2 names, then asked her the 4 names she told you about. But you telling her the names she could have said yes those are the names.

When you think about the achievements of mankind (able to build skyscrapers/pyramids/the great Wall of China/etc, submarines, satellites, nuclear weapons, lasers, organ transplants, DNA, genetic engineering, medical breakthroughs, etc etc) yet no one has ever proven the existence of the paranormal.

That says a lot in my opinion.

you could try this to debunk… get half a dozen cheap radios and some cheap recorders… tape or digital. at a location run the spirit box and either make a note of the frequencies where you hear anything but static (i think there are ones with digital read out of the running frequencies) then take the cheap radios and tune them into the top 5 strong channels (one each) then through a headphone socket plug them into the a recorder each. make a time stamp and run the spirit box again and do the questioning etc… if you think you hear something responsive you will have a time stamp to go to the recording and see if it matches up to just being a radio station… to fake a spiritbox session you just need a cheap transceiver and broadcast on a frequency the the spirit box is sweeping over from another room

Can i ask it it would have been better to ask the owners of the first place to give you the names of said spirits… as opposed to you giving the names that you captured. As I feel you giving them the answers of James and Edith they could just say "well that is two of the people…" – unless there was proof of their names on the pictures.

I'm not a fan of spirit boxes, I think they are more suggestive than legit. What annoys me the most is that some Youtubers literally have them on through most if an episode (dark arts *koffkoff😉) and it ruins the viewing. Alot of them rely too much on gimmicks and I think it draws away from Actual Credible Evidence in my opinion. Peace 🤘🙃🤘

Good video.I have downloaded apps a few times. Really didnt get much. One specific one i did, and i got something on it and got so scared shut off my cell. Im not a ghost hunter, but my house is scketchy. I literally think something is here. we've heard stuff seen things, and we back onto a forest and ravine . Love your channel.
