Surely we organise a boycott now. If Activision does go so far as to throw us an ai Takeo, surely we make the decision now as a community that they'll have put the final nail in the coffin, and it's time to walk away til they're forced to do something about it?
The VA’s have been doing their part, it’s time for the community to do the same. This is vile and Activision needs to be made an example of. This situation is egregious and makes me upset with those higher ups who are just looking for another paycheck and honestly humanity as of late. We live in a grim world where artists and great talents are losing the ability to share their expertise with the world without a multi billion dollar company stealing it and claiming it as their own. It is disgusting. AI can be used for many great things behind the scenes, however replacing the life and soul of characters loved by millions with cheap copies should not ever be a thing, nor should stealing a graphic designers job, audio engineers job, etc. Names of those who are for this grim future should be plastered everywhere, so we know who still cares about the art and who doesn’t. This CANNOT become commonplace, genuine art as a whole is in jeopardy.
Honestly seems like all of us should stop supporting activision as a whole and stop playing any games associated with them to get them out of here and hope to god they get out of the scene and we have all the sub companies disband and make their own versions of cod

The VAs aren't gonna win this without going to court imo. You're gonna need a court to rule on whether or not companies are allowed to have AIs use their voice based on the lines already recorded. As long as companies are able to feed AI these voice lines VAs won't be able to negotiate from a position of strength Edit: I would absolutely be a scab here. Unless SAG-AFTRA takes it to court they're all just gonna get replaced. It doesn't seem to me like they have any leverage. And if you aren't fighting to win then why even fight?
