Kaulder (Vin Diesel), a witch hunter, is cursed with immortality by the Witch Queen (Julie Englbrecht) right before she dies at his hand. As a result, he has been tracking down evil witches for centuries while leading a lonely existence separated from his wife and daughter. Honestly i'm with the witch queen.
That's the issue with movies, they NEVER let the bad guys have scenes to enforce their struggles and reasons to "why" the plan had to be so intricate, why I loved Total Recall (80s) where the twist really was the fact EVERYTHING just fell into place because Ironside just REALLY wanted to kill quaid, where I'd love this more had it been like "we gotta hurry, otherwise the hunters will figure us out" sort of scenes, but still ok.
