As for the dragging yet no chairs being moved, I used to live in a basement apartment and always heard chairs dragging across the floor when my landlady upstairs wasn't home. Finally ran up there to check during such occasion, and nothing was out of place. 🤷

I live near the hall, it's a cool place, The grey lady is most often seen by the small bridge outside the hall next to where the old coaching house used to be, my Grandmother used to tell us some crazy tales about that place, apparently there is a spirit of a cat that roams the hall, one person who attempted to stay overnight left covered in scratches claiming they were attacked by a cat although no cat was to be seen.
It's a creepy place, but on the times I've visited I've never experienced anything myself.

The light you saw, I have seen that in another location (The Ragged School-London Tower Hamlets). It is strange, exactly the same as you showed it!
