That's not correct. Spirits can get lost. The spirit leaves the body and sleeps until Judgement day somewhere between heaven and hell. Only o judgement day do they rise up to heaven. The evil spirits too. Except they will go to Hell. There are good spirits that can't rest because evil is attacking people they loved. Others may hang around waiting for their loved ones usually a mother for a child that might be vulnerable or disabled. It could someone that doesn't accept they are dead, evil spirits are here and demons, they impersonate good people or little children. Spirit boards bring through evil spirits in fact, contacting loved ones that are lost regularly also opens the door to evil and demons. That's why Christians are told to never dabble in spiritualism, ouija boards or séances. Believing in spirits and their existence is OK as farvas I can say. Many a lost spirit is shown the light or left the house to go into the light with the help of ghost hunters with faith. Absolutely disagree and I’m not spiritual but I did have a spirit in my old house for a few years till she happily moved on ( I think satisfied with the new family living in her old cottage ) she was not visible but corner of eye thing . I say she because we’d get a lovely smell of baking and I was very aware she was interested and watching me when I worked at home at my drawing board. Even felt her hand touch the top of mine once whilst I drew. Nothing nasty or scary about her I seriously think she just wasn’t ready to move on .
