Poltergeist – E! True Hollywood Story (2002)
Behind the scenes look into the production of POLTERGEIST and its sequels, with cast interviews and archival footage, and a tribute to the late Heather O’Rourke also included. NOTE – In order to upload this, I had to trim a specific 3-minute segment that was related to young Heather’s tragic passing. The copyright lords would not let that segment pass unless it was cut out. Why? You’d have to ask E! but I apologize in advance as it’s out of my control.
POLTERGEIST 4K UHD/Blu-Ray/DVD
I can't believe any man could sit back and just watch Dunne get murdered. Even if Sweeney was twice my size and I couldn't beat him up I'd still have stopped this man from strangling her.
08:50 so awkward, the way Victor and Grais laugh when the thay deicdid that the little girl will be killed in the plot of the movie…. and she died in really life shortly after….
Sycopath
2002 was E Hollywoods prime
These people are like apple pie. Sweet and flaky. Their anecdotes are as trite as you can get. You can tell that their stories are completely made up and in accordance with all the other ghost stories that have been out there since the 1940's. What a bunch of uninventive New Age unicorn farts and rainbows. And BUBB-bles.
9:00 there really is something truly evil about hollywood
Heather o' Rourke why she deid of what why she did
That movie f'd me up. To this day, I have trouble watching it.
Poltergeist is legendary because of the sacrifice of Heather, period.
Cursed steven speilberg still alive .if the movie was forbidden they would target him since he created the film.
God is in his Holy temple.😮
Much of the supposed curse attributed to the Poltergeist movie and its sequel has been definitively debunked over time. However, it never hurts a horror movie publicity-wise when there is a degree of art imitating life, the art on this occasion having more to do with artificial than artistry. Spielberg is a master of tales, and just let's say he has demonstrated that he never lets the facts get in the way of a good story, especially when it generates publicity.
2 and a half years for murder?!?! How did they get away with that? Wow!
Will Sampson talked to Floyd Westerman shortly before he passed away and said he felt this was happening to him because of the skeletons used in the movie. RIP Will Sampson😢
The vomit monster traumatized me for YEARS until i was 12. I couldnt get near skeletons or tequila worms
He only got 6 yrs??? For manslaughter? Strangulation takes four minutes of premeditation. 😮
Zelda Rubinstein is iconic.
Great video, i do not know if the movie was cursed, or not, but It was really sad, that many actors of this movie died.
I remember the movie was rated Adult Accompaniment in our city (Canada). Of course, that was before PG-13 was invented.
I loved The Vomit Monster scene in Poltergeist II The Other Side.
Actress Heather O’Rourke died during Poltergeist III.
I love the scene when Robbie’s braces attacked him in Poltergeist II The Other Side.
In Poltergeist II The Other Side the character of Dana went off to college.
I love when Dominique Dunne’s character said “what’s happening what’s happening what’s happening?”
I love the line “they’re back” in Poltergeist II The Other Side.
I love the line “they’re here.”
Rest In Peace Dominique Dunne. November 4, 1982😂
Poltergeist was a great movie.
All psychics are evil. Read The Bible.
Weird how they act like nobody knew who Will Sampson was. The guy played in The Outlaw Josey Wales and several episodes of the show, Vegas!
Weird…
Apparently writer strikes is nothing new in Hollywood. I had forgotten aboot the strike in ‘81.
