The doll is on a rocking chair and the floorboards are old and creaky so an imperceptible movement of the rocking chair caused by walking in the room resulted in the finely balanced doll falling over.
the warming up of the doll can easily be explained by that bright ass light you kept shining on him for minutes straight*
