we investigated here a few times never caught anything but the history is as followed. Fota crescent is now just the ruins of cottages which were once used as homes for the workers of the large Fota estate.The people who worked at the estate would have worked around 15 hours a day with very few days off.There houses were also built very close to water and would be prone to flooding. We also have been told there was a male and female school at the site of the ruins.We have been told they have been inhabited since the 40s or 50s but cant confirm this.
