FIRST Time Playing Oblivion! | Oblivion Remastered | Wood Elf Witchhunter | Part 1

This is my FIRST EVER experience with Oblivion! Although I’ve played countless hours of Skyrim over the past decade, I never took the time to go back and play the previous games! I’m so excited to finally experience Cyrodiil through this Remaster!

Today, I make the character that I will set out into Tamriel with – a Wood Elf Witchhunter – before meeting Uriel Septim, himself!

  1. I recently started the Oblivion Remaster too, and I'm having so much fun! The only experience I have with Oblivion is a few hours into the original game, a year or so ago. I haven't got to play much since I started because of other obligations, but I'm so ready to play more!

  2. 28:00 I got my hair Black by selecting the no color option in the top left, which is weird considering that there's a color option that looks black in the selection, but it appears brown on the character.

  3. Did you not see the word, "Activate" on the log trap? That would have crushed those two goblins without having to fight them. I feel you moving in 3rd person you're going to be setting off tons of traps.

But this isn't Skyrim. This is Oblivion, and Skyrim wouldn't even exist as a game without Oblivion being first. There's no comparison. But the goblins in most games resemble those from Dungeon and Dragons, which are based off J.R.R. Tolkiens Middle Earrh Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books, not goblins from Oblivion are based off Dungeon and Dragons.

  4. Oblivion is actually my least favourite Elder Scrolls game, but I still have some nostalgy for it. In hindsight it just kinda feels like an awkward middle ground between Morrowind's crunchy oldschool depth and Skyrim's easy and accessible action fun. The soundtrack's probably the overall best in the series, though.

  5. Not sure if it's because you're playing on XBox or what, but none of the first person issues you were having were a thing for me when I played on PC. first person combat felt good and responsive.

  6. I was fed up at leaving stuff behind in the tutorial part in original Oblivian all the time so today I walked out of the sewers being overcumbered 668/150 on expert level difficulity and creeped myself towards the firs vendor/s. cashing in.

  7. It WAS already an absolute stunning sensory experience between the music and the graphics like back in the day it was fuckin mint. So these remastered graphics throw me so hard shit be blowin my marbles

  8. Don’t usually watch walkthroughs but you came up on my main page algorithm which surprised me when I saw your channel is smaller. Earned a sub just cause it’s a fun coincidence. Good video 🙂
