  1. The amount of hatred that SEG got was very uncalled for!!! I stand behind SEG 💯. Just wanted to say that! My dad passed away on the 24th of August and if anyone did something like that I can honestly say that I, my husband, my brother and my mom wouldn't be free people anymore!! They should have NEVER posted the video and their "apology" is a joke!! I had first subscribed to TOB because of Beardo. Since everything that has happened I've unsubscribed to TOB and I will not change my mind on that!!

  2. i know everyone thinks this is bad, but if you look at some of the true crime stuff its way worse than that. i watch it, i also watch mummies in Egypt, and some other sorts of things, like this, yes a man dies, its sad, I feel for his family. If they had permission from the family to go there then they have the right to show what you tube will allow, but at the same time of they did not get permission they can get in trouble with the law for trespassing, it is a death scene and i dont know if it still had tape up or what ever they do there. I seen some way worse stuff if you look up the Butcher of Cleveland you wont think this is that bad. if you look up the black Dahlia. this isn't that bad. but for people who havent seen them i can agree it is shocking. I havent seen it without the blur so i dont know how bad it was. I did hear it was some hair and his outline, just be glad it wasnt his body that they seen.

  3. They probably should’ve left it alone after this apology, however Griff’s further statement posted 18 hours ago contains quite a bit of backpedaling and potentially changing the circumstances of what happened to Alan. They’re not known for rolling with rumours or making stuff up like other channels so it all feels very confusing and dishonest at this point. He also blames those who were offended for watching it, but given their previous content who honestly knew it would take the gruesome turn it did? It’s disappointing.

  4. …showing the exterior of the home where your family member died, and then entering and filming the contents without permission, and then repeatedly commenting on the odor and showing visible remnants of your family member's putrifaction, and showing your family member's photo I.D.
Yes, if someone had done this to them, they would likely feel violated and be enraged that their tragic event was being exploited for "views and likes."

  5. I still don’t agree with the Jake Paul comparison. They did this under the guise of “paranormal” and if it’s to be believed they didn’t have permission they were also actively breaking laws. I’m glad they removed it.. the first smart thing they did surrounding the video. Sure, maybe they’re not “horrible” people in general.. but if you’re that desperately seeking views to post such a thing. Maybe rethink their strategy for growth.

  6. It's good that they apologized and deleted the video… But honestly the pressure to release a video on a schedule doesn't excuse uploading that kind of content, let alone going through with filming it in the first place. I get that that sort of pressure can be a lot, but filming and uploading uncensored recent human remains like that requires more questioning thought than they gave it. The pressure to upload just doesn't cut it for me as any type of excuse. And then them saying they deeply regret the unintional impact it may have had. There is no "may have had". They had a content warning, but people weren't prepared to see uncensored human remains and be all up in it with those close shots. That'll stick with some people for a while. And you hit the nail on the head, if you're filming something and having a bad reaction to it then you should expect others to also have bad reactions to it. I don't agree with them being in that house at all with how recent the passing was, but they could have filmed the video without all of the uncensored content in it. They could have censored it in editing. They had moments where they made decisions to make it as it was or decide against it all. And then turning off comments before just deleting the video… This isn't an actual apology to me.

  7. If their intention was to get people talking about them, (and I cannot imagine why else they would release this type of video if nothing paranormal happened) they sure got people talking. I appreciate that they removed it and apologized. I don't think they are bad people. What's done is done, though. It was deeply wrong, and they knew it was wrong. I'm still surprised that it was these guys, and that almost makes it worse- the fact that they are so much better than this. That being said, I don't think they can't be redeemed. I'm sure they lost some fans for good, but with time, it's possible to move beyond this mistake. I'll be honest, though- if it were my dad, I'd still sue them.

  8. My take… I still support them. I do think taking the video down was good. I do think the apology was okay. Yes it was more than most would have done. However (just my opinion) it would be nice to see a little something extra in the way of trying to make amends. Donations to the family or something like that.

  9. I hope they learned that there are some things you just don't do for the obvious reasons. Limits to posting certain criteria should be obvious and what their video showed was that they crossed that line, and after negative feedback did the right thing and took it down.

  10. G'day..
    Yes for sure..
    But..
    2 weeks ago.. before TOB..
An abandoned team stumbled upon the evidence…
    "Oxford's Finest Explores"…. a group.
And boy they were shocked finding the hair
    and remnants of a body..
    Their channel hasn't many subscribers.
That team will be sitting back & watching all this
shocking drama unfold.. & thinking glad it's not 'us'..
Not sure if they have taken theirs down.
The also call it Allan's house..

Good for one… & not the other????
    Not really fair l say.

For TOB to get all the flack..
    Mmmmm..
    What do you think?
    🦘👻🦘

  11. Taking down the video was, in my opinion, the right thing to do. For my taste they should have done so earlier, but there we are. At least they finally saw that they made a mistake and did the right thing. One could see in their video they also felt something was way off, and they should have listened to their gut feeling and not even have filmed it in the first place. Hopefully they have learned their lesson and will do better in the future; I still think that they are good guys who deserve this second chance; it takes guts to admit that you messed up and take the consequences.

  12. The video was wrong, simple. Showing any bodily remains of a recently deceased person is exploitative and degrading (can not understand how this is even questioned?). Especially when you have a large platform like TOB – you are held to higher standards by default. On the other hand, TOB have spent years investing in videos where they practise honesty and integrity – often compromising larger viewing figures for more credible investigations. I think this justifies giving them more leeway than other teams who have poorer track records. Not all paranormal teams are created equal. Some – like TOB – have earned more nuanced approaches to criticism than others.

  13. That is not an apology. It's an "I'm sorry you feel that way" They deeply appreciate the people who gave support for the video, but do NOT appreciate the people who did NOT support the video. In regards to them calling it a "mistake" did they mistake driving for hours to the location? Did they mistake lurking around outside for over an hour before they felt comfortable enough to gain access? Did they mistake filming the place where Alan lay for so long? Did they mistake going through hours of footage to make a video? Did they mistake editing a video for hours? Did they mistake releasing the video? They knew EXACTLY what they were doing and thought they could get away with it.

  14. Have you really forgotten the words that came out of their own mouths? These are timestamps for your own video reacting to them and SEG. 17:58 Ste – "But when you see the print, and hair, it's one of the most fucked up things I've ever seen, and George, I don't even know what to say, it's not even George, it's Alan" BOTH START LAUGHING.
Griff – "That's sick, we can't have you laughing"
Ste – "I do apologise Alan, could you give us a sign?"

30:08 Ste – "I just want to say to Alan and his family or anything, you know, not that they'll probably ever watch this video, but Alan (giggles) Alan's never gonna be watching, but (Then laughs and smiles at his JOKE) but we mean no disrespect, no disrespect whatsoever, and I hope you all move on in peace, um".

Not one single part of their video was respectful in any way, shape or form.

If it was the body print, hair, scalp and body fluids that had belonged to a child, would that have been fair game too? You know like they said there could have been paranormal activity because it's a fresh death? Would they laugh if they got the child's name wrong, would they quip that the child isn't going to be able to watch the video? I'm just curious as to where they think the line is? Or even if there is one. xxx❤

  15. i wouldn't go as far as to say that this family's situation can be empathized by most people. i can't put myself in the shoes of someone who's 'loved' one this is, because i actually care about my family. Most people wouldn't leave their loved one alone for long enough for them to die and then seep into the carpet. regardless, we don't know the family's entire situation; its insensitive to broadcast anyone's situation like this without their permission. Ouija Brothers may have done wrong, but at least they did the right thing in taking down the video.

  16. I agree. They have acknowledged a mistake and apologized. They didn't try to justify it but it helps that they gave insight into their decision to post it. What more can they do? They are good guys. It was a bump now let's move on

  17. It’s not the worst response out there for sure, but that really doesn’t change why people were upset about it. I agree they don’t deserve massive heat for this after apologizing and removing it but they did step a smidge too close to the fire here so it’s understandable some heat should be expected. People weren’t upset over invalid reasons that did cross a line for some folks, but the effort to apologize and try to right things is a good step for them.

  18. They've spent years making classy and respectable work, this is clearly an anomaly. Wish they'd asked people around them for advice before releasing the video, but hindsight is 20/20 as they say.

  19. That sounded like a very real and well put together apology. And they removed the video. We all learned things, i think. I also think we can move on from it and give them some grace. I don't know them well, but the debunkers i watch have said long before this that they're good guys; they don't regularly do things like this. So they kinda got a warning from the community, and I don't think they'll do something anywhere near to this again. I think they deserve a pass and another chance from their viewers. I was one that was disturbed, but they sound really apologetic. My view of them, at least, is back to the way i thought of them before. But I'm not trying to make everyone who was upset do the same. I'm just stating my thoughts.

  20. Nah I feel like that "apology" is just to backtrack because of the backlash. That apology felt more like one of those that are like "Sorry that you're upset by my actions." It's just not good enough, but honestly no apology would be good enough for what they did.🤷

  21. Well, I appreciate the fact they apologized… I just filled the debunkers and reaction channels are not holding them to the same standard that they would’ve held an unknown group or a group They didn’t like. Like I said on Mr. Gray’s video… If this had not been TOB that did this… They would have been ripped to shreds and called every name in the book. But because it’s TOB, so many are trying to talk all calm and softly about how they’re great guys they just made a mistake. It’s a double standard right now.

  22. 2 Ply Paranormal did a video on this, and he said he recently lost his dad to murder, and he said he would felt upset if a paranormal team did this to his dad. I also posted on TOB community tab about this, and I said I lost my mom in December of 2023, and I would be upset if any paranormal team did this to my mom. I said that we all need to remember in the paranormal and all that that we need to respect the dead for them to rest, and to the family member to grieve for their lost loved ones. At least they took it down, and admit they made the mistake. People who want their heads going after Beardo and others don't realized that they are different. If you speak up to somebody like Jody Dean of Hunting The Dead? He would block you because the dead is money to help. He did a Rando and posted a video that he found this missing woman's belongings on the east coast, and they found her body in Wyoming. A lot of people spoke up about his video was in bad taste, and he blocked people. TOB did not blocked people, or left it up for money.

  23. Yea. A lot of people were pretty upset, which is understandable. No one wants to see something like that unless you're into heavy crime scene videos, and that's not what their channel is about. I'm not sure what made them go there and film that. It's hard hitting and shocking to people who have, and people who haven't seen something so grotesque and real. I'm just glad they apologized and took it down. Sights like that can really mess up people sometimes.

  24. Sorry.. but these are two grown men who knew better. And knew it was wrong. This was not just a "mistake" or an opps my bad… they knew what the backlash they could possible get. Like ya.. they removed it but the internet is forever.
