Can you please explain to me why when i have 0 heat it takes like 4 seconds to start firing bolts? its suuuper anoying and heat goes away soo fast. I am currently level 27
I don't think witch Hunter is bad … I just think it's boring because it's too generic

Good job bud I really love it , that build bosses are die even less than 1 minute 🙂 so fun when crossbow charge are incredibly damage so nice and cheap btw good explanations fully recommend and use other builds with pleasure.

I was playing around with the Merc this league came across your build, its been pretty fun!! Added a few "Survivability" tweeks.. such as Cannibalism and the Ripwire Ballista.. Ripwire is nice to drop at a boss fight or strong box.. added font of rage for ex DMG! and few Armor breaking skills.. Thanks for the post on this, first time playing a merc.. its been a blast so far and reached level 90 pretty dam fast to!! lol
Another great build from you! I started playing it before the video because i saw you streaming it. I leveled it to level 58 and had to stop to leave for vacations. It' like playing an arcade top down shoot em up! What i found makes a big difference in the crossbow (except what you already said) is the % increased elemental damage with attacks, because you do lots of fire and cold damage. It's a very fun and different build, thank you!
Should be a disclaimer if you aren't playing WASD try another build. Playing point and click with this build is terrible quality of life.
Deadeye with this would be great I think. Permanent max tailwind stack for damage resist and more damage.
Take into account that with Embitter you are doing fire damage because rapid shot converts 60% of damage to fire damage. Embitter will change the added damage to Rapid Shot from heat to Cold Damage, as you can see in the stats.
I like to see people using Witchunter, its a cool ascendancy and Sorcery Ward is really powerful, but lacks a little in physical defense because the absence of block, armor and also evasion entropy. Looking forward to see how behaves with cloak of flames. Witchunter converts the ARPG gameplay into a third person shooter, its really refreshing

Trying this build an man this is the fastest I've ascended been breezing through the levels. I do have all the uniques in my inventory and have a ton of crossbows. So easy mode.

I've been trying to make a physical Fragmentation Rounds shotgun build work. Not sure how viable it is, but it feels real good to roleplay a resident evil survival shooter shotgunner
put stormchain in rapidshot, and max the shock chance by herald of ice, it will obliterate everything in sight
