So is poison considered a bleed effect? or what exactly starts the bleed when you hit enemies?

Im currently playing explosive grenade witch hunter which I really enjoy, but watching this video gives me some ideas about the next build I might try.
I did a poisonburst/gas arrow pathfinder that used snipe for single target. Took a lot of tuning to figure out snipe, but I was able to take down T4 expedition with the build. Pretty sure I have a showcase map video

How are you getting the explosion from armor explosion support on armor piercing rounds? I thought to get the explosion you need to break the armor completely but the gem prohibits that?
How did you added projectile level on your amulet?
I don't think despoiler does what you think it does. Poisons can't expire on a mob that sits in the cloud. It may be that you can't detonate the cloud if despoiler is in but I don't think that works either.
Why not going for Crimson assault in your passive tree for guaranteed aggravated bleeding? and then go for bleed duration on the other side
LVL48 here with equiped helm But sadely PoB cant take the last line in account, thus , i cannot really use it for all kinds of improvements :/
Bro … get a new bow , prioritise %to phys , levels of projectile , adds some kind of damage and maybe most importantly …. gains life per hit . At the rate the ap rounds hit it makes your life sustain huge. Fix that squishy brah .

Great build! it's nice to see another tech for bleeding crossbow. I'm playing legionnaire w/o deepest tower. I use frag rounds as main skill and core mechanic it's auto reload after heavy stun for rapid shooting. Tried to use poison on bloody herald, but w/o Plague. You showed me a good tech with it. And maybe I would swap my explosive grenades for gas. Ty for this video!

Im actually running a very similar tech but with weaponmaster. 1st set is gas grenade with some grenade, aoe and +2 to poisons nodes (im planning to annoint one in the closest upgrade), 2nd weapon set is crit bleed for high velocity. I clear maps with adhere corrosion bursting plague gas grenade – it just covers the whole screen, then i whether finish with exploit weakness flash grenade or big crit high velocity. I actually run both wind dancer and scavenged plating, since you constantly break armour with gas grenade. Also the def banner works really well for that build. Im running t15s comfortably and the build is yeeeeet to be finished, its just a 2.5 divines at most atm, the whole gear. I can post a ninjapob if u want but the tree is messy af atm since im still researching, but it works surprisingly well
