Taking a look at the Dark-Life 2 demo. It aims to change up the time of day for Half-Life 2 chapters. Meaning chapters that take place at day are now at night, and vice-versa.

Looks really good.
Hope that this gets added to the Steam workshop of Half-Life 2, so that I can play this and some other mods.
Imagine what this mod would look like with an RTX version once the HL2 RTX edition is complete. Raytraced night lighting? Good lord yes.

I've never been a big fan of City17 lighting, the orange is kinda headache inducing. This makes it beautiful tho! Can't wait for them to finish this mod

Anticitizen One should have taken place at night from the start. I never liked the daytime there. It certainly sets an incredible steampunk mood to it like the beta

I liked the idea of making a sunlit Ravenholm more. Not a super sunny colorful Ravenholm, but a more cloudy one, with a dirty sun breaking through the clouds.
As a north Indian i can confirm that the winter has 0 snow and lots of fog so it just feels like that ravenholm is at Pakistan-Indian border The fog still is in the mroning but after 2 pm We sometimes get to see the sun but after 6 its just dark
It'd be pretty cool if there were flares being fired by artillery in Follow Freemen to give more dynamic lighting. Hopefully this mod is still being developed.
