The Haunting of the Oliver House: A Paranormal Investigation

We conduct an investigation of the Historic 1769 Peter Oliver house in Middleboro, Massachusetts. Reports of paranormal activity have persisted for decades, including full body apparitions, shadow entities, voices, and sensations of being touched. Is the Oliver house truly haunted by the ghosts of British Loyalists from the past?

  1. A great invention
It's crazy the sound of fire works sound like cannon firing.
    My opinion
It was fire works sound different from cannon firing like two sound going off at the same times..🤔🧐❤️😎

  2. I'm sorry. Does anyone else hear an EVP at 6:126:13? I swear to all that's good that a lady just said 'Help Me." Can I get confirmation? I'm working in a lab and I heard that OVER my equipment. I ran it back multiple times, still hear it clearly.

  3. Hubby and I went last year for a quick visit and impromptu investigation. As soon as we turned on the Ovilus it spat out 3 words immediately. They were:HAIR ( I have pink/purple hair), GUEST and FOREIGN (we were visiting from Australia so our accents were clearly different). I'm always overly sceptical about "evidence" collected during investigations, but I couldn't refute what happened. Anyway the house is beautiful and we loved our visit…..nothing else unusual happened during our time there.

  4. The doorbell at my job is light triggered just like that bird. It has so many false positives because of the shadows cast into the window by trees. It's meant to go off when people walk past it cuz their shadows block the light. But it's extremely oversensitive with no way to change the sensitivity. That bird is a much more pleasant sound than the chime I listen to all day lol.

  5. I just watched this episode, sorry I missed it when it was released. It wasn't weird to bury family members in the basement during hard winters when the ground was frozen deep. As diseases like influenza were not uncommon, deaths during an outbreak might overload the local tombs, for example, and bodies required immediate disposal. The house I grew up in was rumored to have had a small child buried in the basement. A doctor lived in the house in the mid- to late 19th Century and was said to have buried an orphaned child who had died in his care in the basement. No haunting that I was ever aware of and no official records stating this as fact. But the story points to a not uncommon practice in centuries past. The basements had dirt floors and many had large wood-fired furnaces located there which heated the entire house, thus the ground there was probably not frozen.

  6. I also think the knocks in response to their knocks are mostly coincidence. All the voices are cool though but if they start to say they're being touched all the time or see shadows that their cameras never seem to capture I'll have to stop watching.

  7. I do like Jason and JV but I don't understand why investigators think that these spirits will act on command. They were people once. If a stranger came into your space and demanded all these things of you I highly doubt you would perform just because they asked you to. I bet if you stop treating them like circus animals you may have better results. Again I'm not really referring to.Jason and JV because they show a lot of respect to these entities. But most investigators seem so dumb.

  8. Random side note as it’s over 7 months later, but it sounds like one of the guys has a bit of a nose whistle going on; may be JV based on when it happens. Only bringing this up because a lot of the time, the person who it’s happening to doesn’t notice it in person, but it picks up a lot more on a microphone. A couple of the times in night one where the guys responded to a whistle sound, it sounded more like a respiratory thing I.e. nose whistle.

  9. 1:13:02 Was whoever reviewed the footage really not able to tell that this was JV's stomach gurgling and not "something rolling across a table"? The multiple replays with boosted audio seemed unnecessary but I guess whoever reviewed the footage was stumped about what they were hearing! I thought for sure you were going to add funny captions after replaying the gurgling, showing that the sound was debunked as being something unexplained but that didn't happen and I was shocked. That was the most stereotypical stomach gurgling; you could replace Stomach-growl.WAV with it!😉

  10. Hi Jason this was great…I live in RI as well….you should definitely check out the StrawberryBanke museum in NH absolutely amazing and you will definitely discover the stuff there…
