You didnt do anything wrong guys. You showed the reality of a situation. People that live alone, die in their homes. Unfortunately this is part of life and when exploring abandoned buildings, you will occasionally come across these scenes. If people don't like it, simple, don't watch it. I feel knowing that someone recently passed and the house was not really abandoned yet, I must admit it seems wrong. A house that has been abandoned for decades is a very different story. Continuously complaining about the smell (of death) is harsh. I wouldn't hate on the video or the Ouija Brothers, but I would agree a home whete someone so recently passed and family still goes in, dealing with the death if a lived one and the possessions they left behind… I would recommend follow your instincts. Follow your hearts and leave the moment you realize it's wrong.

Don't censor yourself. If someone's vulnerable and grieving, maybe a little self accountability is needed, and avoid ghost hunting videos or whatever else could be triggering. You haven't done anything wrong, they can change channels so to speak if they don't like what they are watching.
You'll never please everyone and on the internet people feel like they can treat people like crap or say things they would never say in person. The news airs worse things than this. If you don't like what you're watching, don't watch it, plain and simple. This is the reality of death and sometimes it's not pretty and again if you don't like it, don't watch it.

People loved Alan so much….they didn't check in on him for how long, definitely more than days…. probably weeks or months. That's love is it 😢
I can understand showing his ID because the dead would definitely not be at peace or rest if their name was denied. If they were forgotten and especially that soon.
However there are privacy issues regarding that and well there you go.
I think if you ever get into a situation like that again you should think what if it was my wife or my sister or a family member or me? How would I feel about certain information being put out for strangers worldwide to know and see? I would in my opinion, if I felt odd or wrong about it I wouldn't put it out then.
I'm glad to hear about the things that you've learned in some statements that you're making because it shows me that you're thinking now you're putting yourself in the situation as if it were you and thinking well just because we know it doesn't mean the whole world has to know it.
Death is always a hard thing to deal with when you lose someone that you love and care about but you eventually have to talk about it face it and deal with it and move on with life.
And we will all go through it, just like we are going through life right now.
I am pleased to see that you are discussing this and showing it edited and taking into consideration how not just the viewer feels but the person's family who passed away.
it makes me think and wonder how will I go what will the circumstances be will it be quick will it be painless or painful will it be sad long and drawn out I don't know.
Bet that's the wonderful thing about being a creation. You're showing the cycle respect. And perhaps that respect would actually help us not be so afraid for when it's our turn.

I didn't get to see the original. I only saw it through others talking about it. So I haven't gotten the chance to make a decision here since the original is gone. But sure it's still good. Just hate i can't watch both versions. I think if there is a warning then a person can choose to watch or not. Now the choice has been taken. I'd really like to see the original. I would have liked that one.
