In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say, "It has been revealed to me that a group of jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard a wondrous Qur'an (1) that guides to the right path, so we have believed in it, and we will never associate with our Lord anyone (2) and that exalted is the majesty of our Lord, He has not taken a wife or a son (3) and that our foolish one used to say about Allah an outrageous falsehood (4) and we had thought that mankind and jinn would never say about Allah.'" (5) And that there were men from among mankind who sought refuge with men from among the jinn, so they increased them in burden. (6) And that they thought, as you thought, that God would never resurrect anyone. (7) And that we sought to reach the heaven, but found it filled with powerful guards and shooting stars. (8) And that we used to sit in places there to listen, but whoever listens now will find a shooting star lying in wait for him. (9) And that we do not know whether evil is intended for us. (10) And among us are the righteous, and among us are those who are otherwise; we are of differing ways. (11) And we thought that we could never frustrate God on earth, nor could we escape Him by fleeing. (12) And when we heard the guidance, we believed in it. So whoever believes in his Lord will not fear injustice or oppression. (13) And among us are Muslims, and among us are those who deviate from justice. So whoever submits to God… Those are the ones who sought guidance. (14) But as for the unjust, they will be fuel for Hell. (15) And if they had remained steadfast on the right path, We would have given them abundant water to drink. (16) To test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord – He will drive him into a severe punishment. (17) And that the mosques are for Allah, so do not invoke anyone along with Allah. (18) And that when the servant of Allah stood up to invoke Him, they almost attacked him. (19) Say, “I only invoke my Lord, and I do not associate anyone with Him.” (20) Say, “I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or benefit.” (21) Say, “Indeed, no one can protect me from God, nor can I find besides Him any refuge.” (22) Except [it is] a message from God and His messages. And whoever disobeys God and His Messenger – then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever. (23) Until, when they see that which they are promised, they will know who is weaker. (24) Say, “I do not know whether what you are promised is near or whether my Lord will grant it a longer term.” (25) He is the Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His unseen knowledge to anyone (26) except to a messenger whom He has chosen, and indeed, He assigns guardians before him and behind him (27) so that He may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord, and He encompasses what is with them and has enumerated all things in number. Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the whisperer who withdraws, who whispers [evil] into the hearts of mankind – from among the jinn and mankind."
