Beyond Sleep’s Shadow

Have you ever noticed your dreams seeping into waking life? It starts subtly—faint whispers in the dark, shadows flickering where they shouldn’t. Last night, I dreamed of a foggy street, unfamiliar yet oddly comforting. Today, I saw it—right outside my window, mist curling around empty lampposts. The world feels wrong, like the edges of my reality are dissolving. I tried to tell my friend, but my voice felt distant, like a voice in a dream. Then I saw it—a mirror on the wall showing not my reflection, but a different place, a different face staring back. Are my dreams bleeding into the real world? Or is the world itself a nightmare, slipping away? I don’t know what’s real anymore, and tonight, I’ll sleep again, wondering if I’ll wake up in the same world or something else… something waiting.
