The first teaser trailer for Breck Eisner’s The Last Witch Hunter offered a peek at what Kaulder (Vin Diesel) is up against as, well, the world’s very last witch hunter, but Lionsgate just unveiled a brand new trailer for the film and it delves much deeper into Kaulder’s past and the evil he faces in the present. Kaulder was once a member of an army of witch hunters, but before he could slay the Queen Witch, she cursed him with her immortality and now he’s the only one of his kind left.

So, it looks like a mix of Constantine and Solomon Kane with a hint of Inception and a light sprinkling of that Seventh Son movie nobody saw.
You know what? It might be a good Friday Night Rental kind of movie. Not a revolutionary actioner, but not a catastrophe either.
