Anyone know if you can scale bleed or ignite off decimating strike or it is like a flat percentage damage like a reverse culling strike that can't apply bleed or ignite? Seems pretty cracked if you can scale with ignite or bleed.

Builds that I've figured or seen:
Gemling Mercenary Summoner or pretty much anything as it's the new Scion.
Infernalist Witch Detonate Dead with Cast on Minion Death and Raging Spirits (will be awesome when Righteous Fire returns)
Witch Hunter Mercenary anything with grenades (such as this video)
Chayula Monk Chaos Damage or Flicker Strike, because it has INSANE mana leech which also leeches Energy Shield and with Mind over Matter talent (30% of hits taken as mana instead).

To time a full party to hit the boss at the exact same time would be very difficult i think. They have probably thought about it, if it becomes and issue GGG will fix it. Its a beta to get the game ready for full release after all. There is going to be a lot of changes to balance during EA. Nothing is final 🙂 Anything worded "increased" or "reduced" is additive, anything worded "more" or "less" is multiplicative.

Beauty of Poe2. Its so complex that it will take forever to master and see all the skill combos/synergy etc. Great for investing tons of time learning the game. No more beating everything and have nothing to do like D4 after a few weeks. Love it

now you're hijacking POE content creators. Rob I remember you said complex systems can be overwhelming etc etc, implying that D4 system is better…DO YOU REMEMBER THAT…wow hypocrite.
I watched DM's last video and they where talking about having .build files so you can theory craft a build and have the points go in as you level.
But it may not be in EA at the start.
2:46 hey rob, to simplify this since youre familiar to D4, increased vs more is like the damage buckets (havent played d4, like vulnerable damage and crit damage and all that if it's still the same).
100% increased damage is still x2 damage
100% more damage is still x2 damage
So together you're doing x4 with both of them
Its just that more damage is really rare compared to increased damage. In poe imagine having like 500% increased damage and 100% more damage, 30% more damage is a big deal in this case. It's like having 500% crit damage and 100% vulnerable damage, you get way more from 30% vulnerable damage.

As far as the multiple party members stacking those initial hits, they will likely put a flag on the enemy (maybe with an icon shown under the HP bar, or hidden altogether) that only allows one of those initial hits up to 30%.

the 20% chunking ability is trash, you would rather want consistent damage buffs that will overall add up to more damage than a one time 20% chunk of damage.

this 100% wont work, GGG is very smart when it comes to these kind of pretty OBVIOUS exploits lol. After the hit the boss got a debuff that probably not alows for another of this strike to be applied
6 party of merch and 1 shot wont work, because if you carefully read the tooltip. it only happens on first hit.
The way I understand it, the decimating strike only affects the first 30% HP of a mob. From 100 to 70% HP. Stacking this class is actually bad if they all have that skill.
